Reader's POV

"Come on, Y/N, let's go!"

Sayori gripped on tighter to my hand and tried to drag me to the club room. "I already told you, I don't want to go!"

"Please?" she asked with puppy dog eyes. I sighed. Don't give in, don't give in, I thought. She made a pouting face and her bottom lip started to tremble.

"I said I don't want to go! Can't you see that, Sayori?"

"I-I just wanted to do something with you... like when we were little. You don't have to be such a meanie," she muttered, bursting into tears. She ran down the hallway and around the corner.

I'm tired of Sayori being so clingy... I didn't want to be mean but it was the only way I could take a break. I'll apologize later.

Just as I turned around, I saw a short girl carrying a box of books running full speed towards me. I tried to step to the side but she notices me and crashes into me. We topple over and her books scatter across the floor.

"Jeez, watch where you're going! Now my pages are going to be bent and they're all out of order! Thanks a lot!" 

"I-I'm sorry!" I stutter and I scramble to pick up her books.

"Parfait Girls? I've never read this series before."

"U-uh... GIVE ME THAT!" she yelled, pulling the book from my hand.

"Okay, just trying to help..."

"Well, you'd be more helpful if you stood over there," she said, pointing to the other end of the hall.

"You don't want to run into any more people, I'll walk you to where you're going."

"Ugh, fine, only because I'll look like a jerk if I refuse!" she rolled her eyes and stood up. Looking to the side, she handed me a box of manga.

"Where are you heading to?" I asked as we walked.

"The literature club..."

"Now I have to face Sayori..." I mumbled to myself.

"What was that?"

"N-nothing..."

Great. I made my only friend mad, and now I have to face her... with another girl...
