Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lying on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded

Finn's pov:
Laying on my bed, I stare, withdrawn, at the plain and cracking ceiling.
"Ow.." I whine, grasping my bruised, purpling knuckles.
I look down at the now blood stained t-shirt and sigh deeply.
"I'm not going to sit around and let this douche ruin my day. It's not worth it." I mumble to myself.
I slip on my white Nike's, followed by a checkered, plaid cardigan and head for the door.

I kick over my bike stand and start pedalling like my life depends on it, my destination becoming closer and closer by the second. I flinch as a car speeds awfully close to me but continue pushing, beads of sweat forming behind my neck. My hair flops lazily in the wind as I squint, my eyes stinging and watering due to the wind in my face. My heart pounds out of my chest as I spy the house I'm headed to. I throw my bike by the curb and speed walk to the doors. I hesitate before slowly reaching my arm out to knock on the broad, wooden doors. I wait, anxiously for someone to answer. Suddenly, the door peaks open, creaking slowly. A wisp of firery hair is present, followed by both mysterious and curious aquatic eyes.
"H-hello?" Sadie says, tilting her head ever so slightly as she proceeds to push open the door fully.
I don't know what I'm doing here, my mind goes blank.
"Um... hi." I say, shyly.
"My parents aren't home, but you can still come In." Sadie shrugs and looks up to meet my gaze.
"Oh, sure." I respond, almost too eagerly.
I place my shoes on the muddy welcome mat and follow her around the corner.
"Can I get you anything?" She asks politely.
"Uhh maybe just a water." I reply flatly.
I watch as she walks gracefully towards the cupboards, having to still go on her tip toes to reach the highest ones, even though she's 5'3, an average height.
"So, what brings you here?" She continuous, moving swiftly towards me with the glass.
I begin to panic, not really sure why I showed up here. Without thinking I blurt out
"You."
She inhales sharply but doesn't say anything, probably suggesting for me to continue.
"Well.. that came out wrong." I go on.
I turn to face towards her, gripping the glass tightly, palms getting sweaty.
"I- uh okay, Jack's my best friend.. err ex best friend and I'm trying to be happy for him. You're a really great girl. Ah, maybe even amazing." I pause abruptly.
She gives me a warm smile, breaking eye contact to fiddle with the elastic band around her wrist, nervously.
"Anyways, there's a dilemma. I came off as.. I don't know, sorta vicious and violent today." I admit.
"I just want you to know, it's really not like me. I'd never do anything to put you in danger." I say, wholeheartedly.
She smiles warmly.
"Sadie.. I-I like you. A lot. Shit, maybe I'd even go so far as to saying I love you. I wish I could hold you in my arms and cradle you. I wish I could be there for you and sneak out of your house through the window past our curfew. I wish I could call you mine." I ramble without thinking.
Suddenly, Sadie grabs my hands and clasps them on her waist.
"I sorta dig you too Frog face." She whispers in my ear, sending chills down my spine.
I slowly lean in for a kiss but she beats me to it as she plants her lips onto mine softly, our faces turning pink.
Her body brushes up against mine, goosebumps are raised throughout my body.
She pulls back suddenly.
"I-I'm sorry. I'm not a cheater." She said softly.
"I know." I reassure her.
She slides off the chair and scrummages through a drawer. Quickly, she scribbles out something on note pad and folds the paper precisely.
"My number." She smiles, placing it in my hands.
I find it adorable how small she is compared to me.
"Thanks." I reply, stunned at all that happened that evening.
"Well, I gotta get on my way." I trail off.
"Oh, yeah yeah right." She says understandingly.
She walks me to the door and as I turn to say goodbye, she gives me a friendly hug.
I blush again, "good talk" I say flirty.
She giggles and nods, "yeah."
"We should hang out again." She suggests.
"Oh sure!" I respond almost too quickly.
"I'll text you." I point to the pocket with the note card.
"Mhm." She hums. "Bye Finnie."
Finnie, I replay in my head. I like it.
