"Hey," said Fred as the twins were storing their trunks up next to Brigid's, "we heard that Lee has something really cool."

"Who said?" asked Brigid. She shoved her glasses up her nose, turning to look at the twins as she did so.

"Lee," they said at once.

"He came and saw us before you ran up. Said to go and find his compartment."

Lee Jordan was one of their closest friends; he was in their same year and House--Gryffindor--and was a commentator for the Quidditch games. He sometimes had a hand in helping out with pranks, but he mostly spent a lot of his time playing his guitar in the common room.

"What is it?" Brigid asked anxiously.

"He didn't say, but he had a small box and it had holes in it."

"Let's go find him, then."

The twins nodded in agreement before following the young Irish witch to go and find their friend. As they passed by the entrance of their car, with still no Lee in sight, they stumbled across a young first year, who was struggling to pull his trunk up the steps. He already had his owl's cage up in the train, but his trunk wheels were caught on one of the steps.

"Want a hand?" George asked the kid.

"Yes please," the first year panted.

"Oi! Fred, Brigid, come help." Fred and Brigid hopped off the train and helped George hoist the trunk onto the top step. With one final heave by the first year boy, they were successful in getting the case up onto the train.

"Thanks," the kid said, pushing his fringe out of his face. This caused the lightning bolt scar to be revealed to the three third years, who all gawked at him.

"What's that?" asked Fred.

"Blimey, are you--?" George began.

Brigid blinked once, twice, trying to see if she was actually seeing what she thought she was seeing. "He is," Brigid said finally.

"What?" the boy asked, looking bewildered at them.

"Harry Potter," the three troublemakers said in unison.

"Oh, him," Harry said. "I mean, yes, I am."

Fred, George, and Brigid all shared devilish grins with each other.

"Fred, George, you there?" a voice called. It was clearly Mrs. Weasley.

"Coming, Mum!" they shouted. Fred and George turned to Brigid. "We're going to go and give our poor mother one last goodbye. You coming?"

Brigid shook her head. "I'm going back to the compartment. Give her my best for me."

"Will do, Bridge," Fred said and the twins headed off back toward their family.

"Welp, see you 'round, Harry. It was cool meeting you," said Brigid, giving the skinny boy a wave. She headed off down the car and re-entered the compartment, disappointed they hadn't located Lee. Ah, well. They were in the same House. They'd see him before long, anyway.

It felt like ages later when the train started moving. By then, Fred and George had long since rejoined Brigid. Alicia Spinnet and Angelina Johnson had also found them and had joined them. They all squeezed in together and the girls went on about their summers abroad.

Brigid had to admit, their summers sounded fun, but she was always happy to just be lazy at home. Besides, she'd gotten tons of blueprints done for pranks they could make now that they could use magic again. One of the blueprints contained plans to make Reappearing Mud Tracks, which Brigid had thought of herself. Another one was the Reverse Umbrella. There were a few more she'd thought of, but these happened to be her favorites.
