I sat at the end of Blade's bed or what he likes to call it 'Our Bed', looking at the necklace he gave me last night. It was utterly beautiful, I couldn't describe it in words. I felt happy, I'm learning to trust and accept him along with the others in the house.
A knock at the door pulled me from thoughts.
"Come in: I said taking my off my necklace and to the door
Nick walks in and closes the door behind him. He turns and looks at me, a blank look etched on his face.
He quietly walks towards me making me a little nervous since I don't fully trust him yet and sits beside me.
"How are you dealing with all of this?" He asks, his British accent thick in his voice, looking up from the floor he was previously looking at too met my gaze. In this moment curiosity now showing on his face.
I open my mouth to answer then pause. I break away my gaze from him and look down. A grim look etched on my face as I contemplate more and more about what has been going on. 'How was I holding up' 'How have I stand all of these people...if I could even calling them people.
"I-i know to a point , after that point I don't know....To be honest I want to get know all of you guys including Blade, I want to have a open mind. but at the same time I can't help to be unsure and scared of the whole not being human thing. It's a lot to think about. Some times I want to go to my old life where things were simple, but at the same time I'm glad I met Blade because I know I love him. I want to take it slow with him. I want to learn how to trust all of you, I just need time.
"Yeah understand this is new and stressful for you. Just know we won't hurt you, Blade has made it clear if anyone hurts you in anyway he will personal take it up with that person. It's not like anyone will hurt you but he is very protective of you. He cares about you, I'm glad your giving him a chance." He Nick tells me watching as I still look at the floor in deep thought. He smiles and stands up walks to the door then stops to turn around to me.
"If you want to come, all of us are going to the beach in 30 minutes. It could help you clear your mind and get to know all of us." He says
"The beach is a good idea, at least I get to swim and get to know you guys......Wait I don't have any swimming trunks" I say to Nick
He says " No problem by the store on the way there....That is unless you want to swim naked and I bet Blade would love that"
"NOPE I'm getting swimming trunks!!!" I say, happy that my small problem is solved
***Time Skip***
After everyone puts on their swim trunks under their regular clothes. We go to the garage that I didn't even know about and get in our respective vechicles.
As we all got into our cars, me of course having to seat with Blade's in his black challenger.
