A/N: honestly I was like 15 when I wrote this story. I'm surprised that's it's gonna so many reads and votes! I've also improved as a writer and no longer suffer from a two year writers block haha. So I'm gonna complete this story :)

Lizzie's POV:
I covered my ears as the gun shot off in the House. It was so much louder than I ever expected it to be. I tried to be calm for the sake of my sanity, but in reality, it didn't work.
I was supposed to stay well hidden but I couldn't sit there knowing Emilie was taking on two well built teenage boys.
I shakily arose from my spot as I walked towards where I last saw Emilie.

Calum's POV:
As Luke and I entered the house, we were met with an eery silence. I turned cautiously towards Luke who looked just as confused.
"Dude" I whispered. "What if they ran?"
Luke snorted as we entered the kitchen. "How fast do you think pregnant people run?"
I chuckled to myself as we searched each room for a sign of the girls. I saw something behind the curtain move and moved towards it. Unfortunately I failed to see that dumbass cat Lizzie found and decided to keep, laying on the floor.
I cursed as I fell face first on the floor, knocking a vase over with me.
I turned to see Luke looking at me angrily. "Well now you've done it asshat"
I groaned in immense pain as he helped me up. I didn't break anything, but that didn't mean the girls weren't alarmed now.
Luke walked faster. "We need to find them now"
I nodded as we entered the next room. It felt weird. My senses were on high alert and I couldn't figure out why. I decided to ignore them and continue following Luke. Little did I know, I shouldn't have done that.

Emilie's POV:
As I left my best friend in the corner, I shakily drew my weapon. I haven't use this thing in a few years now that I realize it. But then again I never liked hurting people. I shook my head. My morals can't affect my job right now. Calum and Luke were evil. I had to protect both Lizzie and the baby from them. Lord knows they'd probably kill the baby while Lizzie bled out on the floor. They'd probably leave her to die and say it was a burglary gone south. Once again I shook my head as tears escaped my eyes. I won't let them hurt her. Not again.
As I neared the corner or the den, I saw Calum and Luke in the doorway of another room. Without hesitation I dove into the closet.
The boys then moved into the next room and eventually stood only a few feet away from my hiding spot.
I watched Calum look around suspiciously. Almost as if he sensed I was there but eventually he moved into the next room. I was getting antsy since I knew they were getting closer to Lizzie.
It was now or never.
I carefully drew out my gun as the boys' backs were turned.
I hope God forgives me.
