Prompt: You find out that you are pregnant with Sweet Peas baby.
My alarm went off at it's usual time but for some reason I was still exhausted. I've been working at the Wyte Wyrm for a few weeks now and have gotten used to waking up at 7:00.
"Maybe I'm sick" I frowned, sipping my morning coffee
"What did you say" I heard a groggy voice in the hallway
I looked up from my coffee and saw my handsome serpent boyfriend. Still in his pajamas he walked to the kitchen to get some coffee as well.
"Nothing love" You lied
"Ok" he smiled
"Well I'm gonna get going, I'll see you after my shift" I kissed Sweet Pea goodbye and headed out the door
Throwing my helmet on, I step on to my motorcycle and start the engine.
*After your shift at the Wrym*
Me and Toni sat at the bar watching the boys play pool. Sweet Pea was bad ass as usual, I smirked to myself.
"So how has it been living with someone like Sweet Pea" Toni chuckled
Toni had known Sweet Pea longer than me, so she knew how his trailer looked and apparently it was extremely messy.
"It hasn't been bad, he helps with dishes, and mostly cleans up after himself" I smile at her
"Well that's good, I'm glad it's working out" she smiled, taking a sip of her beer
I moved to Riverdale 7 months ago after my father died, which meant I had to stay somewhere where my family was. I have grandparents here in Riverdale, but back in the Northside. I quickly became an outcast to the snobby Northsiders and started hanging out with the Serpents. Obviously my grandparents didn't like this, so I moved in with Toni. Few months after I performed my serpent dance, got my tattoo, and caught the attention of a certain serpent. Soon after me and Pea started dating, he offered me to move in with him. It was risky but it's been working for 3 months. I couldn't be happier.
"You gonna have a drink" Toni laughed at me
"Ya haha, I'll have just one shot of tequila" I told the bartender
He set my shot on the table and I quickly downed it. I have never been a lightweight.
Me and Toni talked and played pool for a little until I started to feel really sick.
"Hey y/n, you ok? You look kinda pale" she looked me up and down
I felt a lump in my throat so I ran to the bathroom. I threw up in the toilet and set my head against the wall. I immediately started feeling relief.
Sweet Pea ran into the bathroom.
"Hey hey hey, princess what happened" he looked at me with a concerned face
"I don't know, I just randomly got very sick" I told him, he helped me off the floor
"How much did you drink, you know your supposed to eat something before you drink princess" he eyed me
"I had breakfast and lunch, I only had one shot today" I looked up at him
"Oh.. well you probably have a stomach bug" he frowned, hugging me
"Well I feel better now, I'll stop by the drug store and get medicine in case it happens again" I smiled at him, he smiled back
We walked back into the bar.
It was getting late so I decided to head home. Sweet Pea was going to stay to watch an initiation. I invited Toni over.
"Are you sure it was a stomach bug" Toni questions
"No" I sighed, looking at the TV
"Y/n.. maybe your I don't know" she averted her gaze from me
"I'm what" I asked
"Maybe your pregnant" she shrugged her shoulders
"Pfft no. Definitely not" I laughed, changing the channel
After Toni left I got ready for bed. For some reason what Toni said started lingering in my head. I started reading things online while huddled alone in bed.
"Low energy, nausea, headache, light headedness" I frowned at my phone
Thoughts started running through my head. Anxious thoughts. Me and Pea were not always safe but I took a pill afterwards if we weren't.
I decided to text Sweet Pea.
Y/n 👑♥️: hey love
Sweets 🐍🍭: hey princess, everything ok???
Y/n 👑♥️: ya totally. I was just wondering if u could pick up a few things for me at the store before u head home
Sweets 🐍🍭: sure, what do u need
When Pea arrived home I told him about my concerns and that I was getting nervous that maybe Toni was right.
"Well here" Sweet pea handed me box of pregnancy tests that I had asked him to buy "this with determine that. And, well.. whatever happens. I'm always going to be here" he sadly smiled at me
I nodded, took a deep breath, and walked into the bathroom. I shut the door and set the box on the sink. I heard Pea pacing outside the bathroom door.
I sat down on the toilet, grabbing a test.
My whole mind went blank. Staring at the white and pink plastic stick sitting on the sink. Three minutes never seemed so long. I took deep breaths and closed my eyes.
When I opened them, a single pink line started to appear. I waited a few seconds and a second started to form.
My breaths were sharp. I slammed open the door, nearly hyperventilating. I looked Pea dead in the eyes.
"Pea..... I'm pregnant"
