Prompt: Your an average teenage girl who goes to Riverdale high school. Recently, the school's misfits have arrived, The Serpents. Your family was secretly from the Southside. Will the Serpent boys reveal your family secret?
My dad woke me up by throwing the covers off my bed, demanding that I take a shower before school. I nodded in agreement and turned on the hot water. My family wasn't the best, but they were my family nonetheless. I was lucky my parents were even still together, most Southside kids have divorced parents. After my shower, I dressed, brushed my hair and teeth, then headed into the kitchen.
"Mornin' sweetie", my mother smiled at me from her newspaper
"Good morning mom", I smiled back
"You better get to your bus young lady, we can't have you being late again", my Father scolded
"Of course", I rolled my eyes and headed out the door
I walked early in the morning to catch the earliest bus to Riverdale High. Why don't you just go to Southside High? You twat.
Is what you may be thinking. Well, my parent's enemies' kids go there, so it's not the safest for me. As a result, I am to keep my last name a secret so that nobody finds out. It is hard sometimes. Especially when everyone else is having sleepovers, parties, and teenage hookups at their houses when their parents are away. My parents are gone every weekend because of working purposes but I could never expose myself by inviting someone over. So I'm normally at Betty's or at the Wyte Wrym on the weekends.I kicked the gravel along the trail I was walking, a shortcut I made myself. Eventually, I made it to the long road that I normally got picked up on. I waited for a little then checked my phone.
SP: am I seeing you tonight
I blushed, a fat smile spread across my face.
Y/N: only if u want to hehe
I responded to Sweet Pea and put my phone back into my pocket. Sweet Pea and I have been friends since I was around 10. My parents always had work to do so Sweet Pea, at the age of 13 at the time, would often babysit me. We had so much fun together, so many memories. I had always seen him as more of a brother, but now we are older, me being 16 and him being 18, almost 19, we have gained different feelings. We often flirt and tease one another. We were even crowned king and queen of the Southside Teenagers. Damn, that was fun.
My bus pulled up to its usual spot. I waited at the door till it creaked open and I walked inside.
"Good morning Y/n" My bus driver smiled at me
I was always the first one on the bus, so I and the bus driver had become quiet aquatinted with each other.
"Good morning Sasha," I say, taking a seat in the very back of the bus
"Excited for the weekend," Sasha asks
"Oh my god, you don't even know" I laughed
The rest of the bus ride was silent. We rolled into the bus's stops and picked up all the kids that were heading to school. The bus was extra packed today for some reason, but then again I have my earbuds in and my eyes closed most of the ride. I heard a lot of talking and finally opened my eyes. Nothing seemed off at first but then I noticed a familiar sight. I thought maybe I was hallucinating so I squinted harder.
"Is that a-
"Hey babygirl, this seat taken?" A familiar voice asked
I looked up at the tall figure. Sweet pea?
"I um.. no, no go ahead" I stammered, confused, "What are you doing here," I asked, catching my bearings
"Haha what do you mean? I'm going to school" He said casually as if it was an everyday thing
