The Fire Within
Anger is hot
as uncontrollable as fire
it is fueled by hurt and hate
it becomes an inferno
swallowing you whole
Anger is hot
Anger is cold
it freezes you like ice
stopping your other emotions
and chilling you to the bone
the icy storm whips around inside you
killing thought and motion alike
Anger is cold
Anger is inside you
doing damage from the inside out
always there and never forgotten
it hurts you and those around you
it burns through your soul
and freezes your heart
