i go with rossi to inspect the crime scene. we pull up to a wooden area surrounded by yellow caution tape, several police cars and many people.
we walk up to a man with a dark blue uniform on with brown work boots on.

"ssa rossi with agent wilson. how bad is it, lieutenant?"

"lieutenant gomez" he shook our hands

"just as bad as you think." the lieutenant replied with a sigh, guiding us to the crime scene.

we walked through crowding trees, stabbing twigs, and crawling insects. we reach the crime scene and it's just as horrific as i thought. i close my eyes as the thought and image just stamped into my brain.

i feel a small tear rush down my cheek as it exited my left eye signifying pain and remorse. i open my eyes back up before i was noticed. i look down and see a small, poor, and innocent little girl.

*warning: crime details, might be a trigger, you may skip, and i'll tell you when you can get back to reading*

"5 stab wounds to the chest, 3 to the face, and 3 to the stomach/abdomen" lieutenant gomez described to us. i noticed something shiny in the victims pocket, i put my latex gloves on, crouched down, and pulled it out of the denim pocket it was once in.

it was a keychain from tulsa, oklahoma. greetings from tulsa, OK! the keychain read in white print in front of a building with a swipe of blood across it.

"uh lieutenant i found this in the victims pocket. does the blood from this match the blood from the victim?" i questioned "let me get a detective with an evidence bag." he walked away for a few moments and came back with a another detective.

i handed him the keychain and he placed it in the evidence bag and told the detective to take it back to the lab and test it. "good eyes, agent." lieutenant gomez complimented me "thank you." i said giving off a slight smile.

*you're good.*

rossi and i got done at the crime scene and drove it the hotel where reid, hotch and JJ are. the car ride was silent, i didn't know what to talk about and apparently neither did he.

we walked in the hotel, went to the elevator and went to our floor. i got my key and opened my room with my luggage placed on my bed. i plopped on my bed and began to unpack my suitcase into the black wooden dresser.

there was a knock on my door, i looked through the peephole and opened the door. "yes?" i asked him "oh uh you said we'd go over the case later and since we were spilt up, we didn't really get to talk about the case and since the case is really important i thought we'd discuss it now."

i smiled at the effort spence had and stood to the side and welcomed him into my room. "so what about the case?" i shut the door and locked it because protective reasons, ya know?

"i have information that might help. the unsub was to described as white male from ages ranging from late 20s to early 30s. possibly drives a silver 4 door sedan and was in oklahoma a week before the murder and kidnappings."

i suddenly remember what i found in the victims pocket "was he in tulsa?" i asked randomly sitting on my bed next to spence "uh i'm certain? how'd you know?"

i told him about the keychain and he said "we profiled the unsub as a collector of some sort seeming as he collected the girls based on their dresses and hairstyle that day."

"ocd?" i suggested as maybe he needed a certain amount of victims to satisfy the need.

"possibly." spence answered "he could collect things in 3's. people with ocd usually do things in 3's because 3 brings comfort to people either with OCD or just a plain superstition but superstition usually brings out the 3 more than people with ocd do."

"so you're saying the unsub could possibly be ocd and superstitious?" i look at him in shock, "that's exactly what i'm saying."

"okay so he's a ocd, superstitious, hates to be overwhelmed or in control, not a principal. is it possible that he could own his own business?"

"maybe or he could be a babysitter, teacher, or a social worker. he most likely works with kids and have easy access to him."

"or he could be currently unemployed"

"maybe the girls knew the unsub?"

"not likely, galveston island is 273 miles away from arlington and where the kidnappings were timed, there's no way the girls knew the unsub."

i read through a few files and tried to put the puzzle together

"idk but i'm getting seriously tired." i said to spencer closing a file, looking at him and realizing he's already asleep.

i look at him and roll over then fall on the floor. i give up and just fall asleep.
