Unexpected Lazy Day

I finally sat up from my comfy bed, after constantly refreshing my Skype chat page for the past 20 minutes. This week was actually my first week at Azelia High school,after my big move and honestly it wasn't close to amazing. Luckily today was Saturday and I still didn't recieve any friend requests on this gruesome application. I finally surrendered and zoomed downstairs for a nice bowl of Frosted Flakes. I may not have any friends, but somehow this bowl of sugar did bring me in a cheery mood. "I guess they're not home." I thought to myself as I realized my parents weren't around the house. It was just me, myself and I. I slowly returned back upstairs to enjoy my bowl of happiness, while I was trying to stop over thinking about making friends. Laying down on my bed I thought about my previous life before I moved from New York. I went to a pretty small school in the suburbs and there were not many people fond of me. You would see me as some mute girl in the back of the class doodling on her arm to pass time. Although I was one of the smartest kids in my Sophomore year, I made myself look idiotic by never responding to any questions that I was asked; I hid my true potential so that people wouldn't bother to judge me. However, this year was going to change. I wanted something new and I ---- "Ding!" My laptop yelled while interrupting my thoughts. It was comming from my Skype application. At this moment I had literally two options. I could either check my notification on my Skype or I could simply ignore it and go on with my thoughts. I crept across my pillow of a bed and sweeped up my laptop to open the skype window. Gliding the mouse towards the icon, I hesitated to realize that I finally got a friend request. "Oh man...umm." I mumbled as I mirrored the laptop screen. I stayed in a short pause, reconsidering my next actions. What was waiting for me on Skype easily bothered me and I didn't know what to expect. "Click!" I pressed the mouse finally, after contemplating on what to do. Simply awaiting for me on Skype was what I truly wanted; I finally received a friend request.
