Guilt

Y/N's POV

I was running towards the main gate of Pound hall lost in my thoughts. The muscles in my belly were tightened and I was feeling a bit weird.

"Y/N!" I heard someone call my name, angrily. I halted my running and looked up. "Hi!" I pant. "Wow! Y/N is early for once." She rolled her brown eyes at me.

"Hey! No need of that sarcasm. I-I overslept"

"Why am I not surprised?"

I grin sheepishly. If Wren is angry she lets you know it. Jeez. She is scary at times.
"Come on! We are already late..let's get going." She leads me out of the dorms. "So, how is your roommate?" She asks casually and that weird feeling returns to me. I space out and begin thinking about what happened at the dorm.

"Hello! EARTH TO Y/N!" Wren snaps. "Jeez! What's wrong with you today?"

"Nothing. I just- umm ..jet lag?" I say lamely.

Wren looks at me as if I am crazy. "Anyways..who is your roommate, I asked."

"He is.. that guy we met at the airport."

Wren stops walking and looks at me, almost shocked. "That coffee guy?" What's it with these stupid nicknames?

I nod my head at Wren. She shakes her head. "So.. how was it..was it awkward?"

"Well, it wasn't that bad. He's a complete flirt, though."

"Hmm.. whatever it is, he is cute," Wren says and flashes me a sly smile. I narrow my eyes at her. I give her a its-not-happening-look. She returns a we-will-see- look.

"Anyways. I am starving. Let's eat!"

"I know a really awesome place here. Come on,"she says.

We walk to a nearby bus stop. There are a number of bus stops near the university. A bus arrives within ten minutes and we hop on. Wren speaks nonstop. She points out various sights on the way. Soon we arrive at a marketplace. The atmosphere is electric.

"Wow! This place is awesome."

Wren smiles at me. "Yeah! Its really popular amongst the university students." We walk around and arrive at a restaurant. It has a comforting atmosphere. We settle at a table.

"Y/n, I am so glad you are here. I missed you so much."

"Stop being so mushy Wren,"I laugh at her. She grins back. We order our food and instantly begin chatting. After a while our food arrives and we begin eating. I momentarily forget about Jimin and enjoy my time with Wren. We recount countless stories of our childhood.

"And do you remember that one time when you spilled milkshake over your date?" Wren cannot control her laughter. "Hey! That was an accident!" I flush crimson.

"Omg y/n! Such a klutz!" Wren finally seemed to calm from her laughing fit. "I think its getting late. We need to get back, don't wanna get in trouble on the first day."

"Sure. Let's go!"

We take a bus back to the university. Its deserted. "Wow, its calm for a university. I expected to encounter a bunch of hungover students."

"Well the seniors have their vacations right now. Very few seniors are in the campus. Most of the students are freshmen."

"Oh!" I say "here is the Pound hall. Will you be fine on your own?"

"Of course! I am 19, for god's sake! You are behaving like my mom." I smile at her.
"Freshmen classes start tomorrow, right?"

"Yes. I will catch you tomorrow" Wren says. She walks towards her dorms and soon she is out of sight. I make my way towards Pound hall while admiring the pretty gardens. A cool wind is blowing and it gently ruffles my hair. It feels so soothing.

Caught up in admiring the pretty gardens, I fail to notice a sprinkler hose in my way and end up tripping on it and landing flat on my butt.

"Ouch!" I wince. And the award for the clumsiest person in the entire friggin' universe goes to y/n...

At least no one saw this. I reassure myself.

"Do you need help?" I look up to see a cute boy staring down at me with a hint of amusement playing on his face.

Wow! Said that too soon.

"I could definitely use some." I manage a shy, embarrassed smile.

He chuckles and extends his hand out, offering it to me. I take his hand and he pulls me up.

"Thanks." I say. "It was my pleasure...."

"Y/N! My name is y/n"

"Pretty name. I am Levi." He smiles at me. Wow! He has a cute smile. I notice his clothes. He is wearing a leather jacket on a white shirt and black biker jeans. His brown hair is slicked back with gel. He is bulky and his appearance sends typical bad boy vibes. But his behaviour is kind and sweet. Overall, he is charming.

Why do I meet all cute boys in such embarrassing situations? First Jimin and now...

"I have never seen you here before. Freshman?" He asks me. I nod in return.

"Oh, great. I am in the second year,"he grins "would you like to hang out sometime?"

"Umm.. sure, why not!"

We exchange numbers and he promises that we will hang out sometime.

Now, its seriously late. I quickly make my way to my dorm room. It's eerily quite inside the Pound hall. I slide the key into the lock and turn the lock open. As quietly as possible, I open the door and go inside. Only the kitchen light is on, and its quite. I guess Jimin is asleep.

I feel a pang of disappointment as I hoped that I would get to talk to Jimin about that boyfriend thing. I sneak towards his room and peek through his slightly open door. He is fast asleep. He looks to angelic in sleep.

I make my way towards my room and shut the door behind me. In a jiffy, i change into my pajamas and jump into my bed.

I close my eyes, trying to sleep but my mind has other plans. I begin thinking about my day. About Wren, about Levi about Jimin...

Before I know it, I drift into a deep sleep.

A/n: How was Guilt, guys? I know this update is really late and not upto the par but my school break has recently ended and it has been a drag going back to school. On top of that, teachers are cramming homework down or throats.

(Looks into the distance) Someday I will be free (sheds a tear of hope).

Ahem, anyways as I was saying, that I had a lot of "academic obligations" which did not leave me any free time and hence I could not update, I promise to update more regularly. I will also make sure that y/n and Jimin get some moments in the next chap (hehe)😍.
