Y/N's POV

Jimin slowly came closer to me. I was in a state of panic. I didn't know what I was supposed to think.

Was he just joking around?

Or..?

My back touched something hard. I hadn't realized that I was instinctively backing. He now towered over me.

Damn my small height.

He put his hand beside my head and looked at me with sort of an amused expression.

"You and Tae know each other?" He demanded in a calm, low voice. It sent shivers up my spine.

"Ji-I.." I stuttered. He chuckled. "Why are you stuttering, Y/N? Do I intimidate you?"

I inhaled. "Why would you intimidate me?" He seemed to be not listening to me instead, he just stared at me. His breath fanned my face.

He didn't seem to notice that I said something. "I met Taehyung for the first time by the way."

Still no response.

He inched a bit closer to my face. Things got even quieter, but this wasn't awkward silence. It was....different.

He was still moving his face closer to mine, at a very slow pace. I wasn't in the real world anymore. I didn't know where we were, or the fact that he was my roommate. It was like a trance.

His breath became even more ragged and closer, so did mine. I was looking into his eyes when suddenly a loud noise startled both of us.

Jimin instinctively jumped back and it was then I realized how close we were standing just a second ago. It took me a moment to come out of the trance and realize what the source of noise was.

My phone was buzzing rudely in my pocket. I took it out and looked at the caller id.

Tianna.

I shot a discreet glance at Jimin, who seemed red and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" my voice sounded a bit uneven.

"Hey!" Tianna usually bubbly voice seemed obnoxiously chirpy right now.

Couldn't she have called later?

.

WAIT. You are not supposed to think that Y/N. You should be glad she bailed you out of an awkward situation.

But why didn't it seem awkward?

"You there?" Her voice snapped me out of my inner argument.

"Ya, what is it?"

"I am sorry, Y/N but I can't go out tomorrow."

"Oh," I tried to sound upset but the hanging out with Tianna was the last thing on my mind. The only thing I was upset about was my sweet reverie being rudely broken. "What's wrong?"

"I had enrolled in the environment club. I have to attend a club meeting tomorrow. Its gonna drag on almost the entire day." I could feel her rolling her eyes.

"It's okay. We'll hang out some other time."

"I am so sorry for ruining your weekend."

"Nah, it's fine. One always has Netflix." I chuckled lightly.

"Hey! It's your first weekend in college. You are not staying inside all day! Why don't you go out with someone else?"

"Wren is gonna be out with her date, Jacob and Jenna are going out for brother-sister stuff.."

"What about that boy you always hang out with? What was his name again.."

"Jungkook?"

I felt Jimin flinch slightly at the mention of Jungkook. I looked up questioningly. He avoided eye contact.

"Yeah, Jungkook. He seems nice."

"Ya. I'll talk to him."

"Or," she paused "what about your roommate, Jimin?"

Hah. He would rather not. Not after what would HAVE happened if you hadn't interrupted.

"Hm...I'll see."

"Kay! Sorry again Y/N."

"It's alright, Tia."

"Byee! Catch ya later."

And she hung up. I wanted to talk some more on the phone so I could avoid Jimin.

I removed the phone from my ear and looked at it blankly.

"Ahem." He shuffled slightly. "What happened?"

He was trying to make casual conversation. I played along. "Nothing. I was supposed to hang out with Tianna but she had a duty call so she was just letting me know."

"And that Jungkook kid? What about him?"

Why is being so nosey?

He read my mind "I am just curious. It's not like that kid matters to me or anything."

"He is not a kid."

He scoffed. "Whatever."

'Tianna suggested I hang out with him tomorrow. You know the first weekend of university is supposed to be crazy fun."

"I don't have much to do tomorrow. Perhaps we could hang out?" he suggested.

What the hell? He is asking me to go out with him just after he sent my hormones running?!

I looked at him blankly.

"I don't have anything to do tomorrow so I can show you around London. What do you say?"

"umm..kay."

"Great. Be ready around 6 in the morning." He smiled.

"6! Isn't that too early?"

"I have got something special planned." He said as he went inside his room and shut it, still smiling.

Whoa Y/N. Did you just earn yourself a date?
