Party Time

As I arrived at Lexis house I walked to her back yard and saw her putting up streamers. "Hey" I said "oh great your here!" She said with relief in her voice. "Need help?" I asked. "Well if ya don't want to ruin your perfect outfit then ya help" she said with a laugh. "Haha what do you want me to do?" I asked. "You can go make the brownies in the kitchen" she said. "Or you can hang streamers either one is fine" she said. "I'll go make the brownies." I said walking Into the kitchen. As I put the brownies in the oven, I looked at my phone for the time. It already was 3:00. I walked outside to see Lexi still hanging streamers. "Hey what time did you tell everyone to come?" I asked. "At 3:20" she said. "But you told me 3:00" I said. "Yeah I wanted your lazy butt to come early and help." She said "oh haha" I replied. "Are you done making the brownies?" She asked "Yea...*Ding Dong* rang the door bell. "I'll get it" I said I walked to the door and it was Michelle. She was a girl from school. "Hey" she said as she walked through the door. "Hi" I said "is Lexi here?" She asked "yeah she's in the back hanging streamers" I said "ok thanks" she said "no problem" I replied. I followed her to the back yard. "Hey can you go to my room and get my little speakers?"Lexi asked looking at me. "Oh yeah sure!" I said. I walked up stairs to her room that had a "do not enter" sign on the door. I opened it and saw her blue speakers laying on her bed. I grabbed them and ran down stairs as the door bell rang. "I'll get it!" I yelled and opened the door to let the people in "hi Lexis in the back yard just follow me" I said. "Ok " they replied. I went to the back and saw Lexi throwing glow sticks In the pool because the light in the pool had broke. "Hey Lexi I got your speakers and some people from the door haha" I said "oh thanks you can put them on the table" she said. "Kk" I replied as I set them down on the table. The back had a big pool and a hot tub. She had tiki lanterns all around the yard and pool. They were all different colors. " hey lex I have an idea" I said "yeah what is it" she asked "you have a door to your backyard right??" I asked "yeah why?" She asked "we should make signs leading to that door so everyone doesn't have to go through your house." I said "that's a great idea, I have paper,pencils and all that stuff in my room if ya wanna make signs." She said "kk" I replied. I walked up to her room and made a few signs then posted then outside leading to her backyard. And walked back to the pool.

A hour or two passed and everyone had gotten here. "Hey Zack is here" she said smirking. "Oh ha ha" I replied being sarcastic. " I know you have a crush on him " she said " yeah and so doesn't every other 8th grade girl." I said. "True.. But he's all alone over there. GO TALK TO HIM!!" She said "no I have to go.. And eat a brownie." I said. " ugh whatever." She said. As I walked over to get a brownie "woah" I said as I turned around because someone just ran into me. "Oh sorry" I heard as I turned around to see Zack was the one who ran into me. "oh hey Zack." I said. "Oh hey nicki." Hey said. "Why aren't ya swimming?" I asked. "Oh I was kinda waiting until it got later." He replied. "Oh yeah me too." I said even though that was a complete lie. "Cool ha" he said. " yeah cool" I replied. " I'm gonna go and talk to Josh.. But I'll talk to you in a while" he said. " oh ok." I replied as he walked away. *this is the part when I break free cause I can't resist it no more* played arianas song "oh haha it's ariana" I said under my breath. " did you just say ariana? Like ariana grande? I love her" said a random girl that I didn't even know. "Yeah." I said "I love this song." She said "yeah me too" I said as I walked away. " Hey nicki when are you gonna go swimming?" Asked Lexi "Whenever you are". I replied smiling. "Ok then let me change" she said walking away. "K" I said. I walked into the house and into a room and took off my cloths so I was in my bikini. And I walked out to the back yard where almost everyone was wearing some sort of swimming cloths. "Hey I like your bathing suit" said a girl Aria from school. "Thanks" I said walking away. Then I saw Lexi walk out and I walked up to her. " I like your bikini." I said " thanks I like yours too" she said. " so we gonna get in?" I asked. " yeah" she said running and jumped into the pool. So I ran and jumped in.

After a while of swimming and socializing, I saw Zack jump I'm barely. He was with his friends. "You should really go talk to him." Said Lexi. "No, no I can't I already did today." I replied while I was staring at him. It had already gotten dark and Lexi was throwing glow sticks into the pool. I was kinda by my self in the hot tub with the jets on with my head back and my eyes closed. Zack slipped into the hot tub and touched my shoulder "AHHH" I yelled opening my eyes seeing Zack sitting there laughing. "Oh my god you scared me!" I said laughing. "You should've seen your face haha" he said "whatever" I replied. "So. Why are you sitting here by yourself?" He asked " I don't know" I said. "Oh he said while he came and sat next to me and put his head down. "dang no wonder your here like this by yourself, this is comfortable" he said. " yeah" I said. *DID HE JUST SIT NEXT TO ME WHAT THE FREAK IS HAPPENING?!!!?????* I thought. *SPLASH* I looked up to see Josh. One of Zacks friends. "Dude what are you doing.??" Josh said laughing. "None of your business." Replied Zack. "Ok whatever" Josh said leaving the hot tub. "You can go, it seems your friends want you." I said. "Nah id rather be here." He said *OMG WHAT DID HE JUST SAY!???! I THINK IM GONNA DIE OMG* I thought "oh." I said. "wHaTs GoInG oN hErR?!!" Asked Lexi with a giant stupid grin on her face. "Umm I'm sitting?" I said "oh ok sure" she said still grinning. "Yeah ok." I said. And she walked away. "Hey can you remind me to do something?" Zack asked. "Yeah sure, what is it?" I asked "remind me to ask you for your phone number." He said. "Ok." I said. *MY PHONE NUMBER WHAT OMG WHAT?!* I thought showing no expression on my face. "Ok well just remind me later" he said getting up and out of the pool. "Ok" I said as I watched him get up and leave.

As it got later people left and there where only 5 people here but they where all packing up. I saw Zack was still here so I ran and ripped off a piece of paper from one of the signs I made, wrote my phone number on it and ran to Zack. "here" I said handing him the paper. "What is this?" He asked. "My phone number, you wanted it right?" I asked "oh yeah thanks" he said. "Well my ride is here he said walking away. "Bye" I said but he didn't here.

Everyone had left. Me and Lexi where the only ones here. "Hey I'm gonna go." I said. "Ok talk to you later." She said. I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door. I put my stuff in my basket and rode away. As I got home it was 8:30. I put my bike in the garage and ran inside. I put my stuff down and jumped in the shower. After I took a shower and brushed my hair, I checked my phone. It was 9:20. I took out my journal and wrote some more song lyrics from the top of my head. I put my journal down and fell asleep.
