Meet up (chapter 4)

As I woke up the next day I saw I had a txt message. It was from Zack!

--(TXT CONVO)--

Z: hey

Me: hi

Z: so what's up

Me: nothin much wbu

Z: nothin

Hey wanna meet up at the park later?

Me: yeah sure!

Z:lol k see you there in an hour

Me: k see ya!

--(TXT CONVO)--

Me: hey!!!

Lexi: hi? Why are you so happy? Lol

Me: I got invited to the park in about an hour!!!

Lexi: ok so?

Me: I got invited by Zack!!!!

Lexi: OMG HAVE FUN!!

Me: k thx txt you lata!!

Lexi: bye!

--(END of convo)--

I put my phone on the charger and opened my closet. I looked around and didn't really see anything but crop tops and heigh waisted shorts.

So I walked to my drawer where all my regular clothes where.

I opened my drawer and saw a tye dyed t-shirt. I opened my bottom drawer and grabbed some normal short shorts. I grabbed some old vans I had tye dyed. I got dressed and tried to sneak down the stairs and past the kitchen. I opened the front doors then "oh hey nicki where you goin?" Asked Ariana. "Damn" i whispered under my breath. "Just to the park." I said "oh take Jackie with you" said ariana handing me Jackie's leash. "Umm I can't" I said "why not?" Asked ariana. I usually don't tell her stuff like this because I'm afraid she'll tell mom. I mean it's not that I don't trust her// she hasn't disappointed my b4. But you never know. "I'm meeting a friend" I said "oh, and why can't you just take Jackie?" Ariana asked confused. "Because." I said "my friend is allergic to dogs!" I said even tho It was a lie. "Oh ok well see you later" said ariana "bye" I said as I ran out the door.

As I arrived at the park I put my hand in my pocket reaching for my phone. "Shit!" I yelled under my breath. I had forgotten it on the the charger in my room.

How am I supposed to txt Zack? I don't even see him here yet!!!

I started to walk to the bench he usually is at and sat down.

--(THREE OR FOUR MINUTES LATER)--

"Hi" I heard a voice say from behind me.

"Oh hey" I said thanking god he showed up.

"How long have you been waiting here?" He asked "oh about 3 or 4 minutes" I replied. "Sorry my mom was making me do a bunch of things for her around the house." He said. "Oh it's fine" I said. "k" he said "so what've you been up to?" I asked. "nothing much what about you?" asked Zack. "same" I replied. he sat down next to me. My hand was on the bench between us. He put his hand down right next to mine and they touched. My heart started pounding. He then started holding my hand..... And of course I started holding his hand back I mean wouldn't you?!!!! We looked at eachother. I made one of those stupid nervous laughs and moved my bangs back from in front of my face to behind my ear. His eyes were blue and he had brown hair that was spiked up. He was just the cutest boy ever in the world. His eyes were looking at mine and my eyes were looking at his. We started leaning in... Until we both jumped from the sound of a loud bark. I could recognize that bark anywhere. It was Jackie's bark... That meant either my mom was here and walking her or ariana was. My heart started pounding hard. Zack looked at me. With worried eyes he asked "what's wrong??" "We need to go now!!" I said. "What why??" He asked. "Because I'll explain later, we just need to go!" I said. I jumped up grabbed his hand and started running. He was following behind and finally we arrived at the park bathrooms. We hid behind the building. "Ok what's going on?" He asked confused. "That bark, it's my dogs bark, and i didn't bring her." I said "so?" Zack asked "so! Either my mom or my sister is here walking her!" I yelled under my breath so only he would here it. "And?" He asked "well I didn't exactly tell them who I was meeting at the park." I said kind of in a sorry voice. "Oh. Ok, then we need to get out of here before you get caught." He said. "Yeah like now!" I yelled he grabbed my hand. We looked at eachother and he kissed me. It lasted for almost 5 full seconds. "C'mon let's get out of here" he said. "Ok" I said in a shaky voice cause I was shocked about what just happened.
