"Broken record stuck on repeat, Daisy, you got me"

8:45 PM

"You can't keep doing this to yourself," I pleaded.

"You can't keep doing this to me"

"It's my life. I can do whatever I want," she retorted stubbornly.

"This isn't helping you. It's only hurting you."

"No."

"No?"

"No. The only thing that's hurting me is you reminding me of every single damn thing I've spend the last couple of nights trying so hard to forget."

"This isn't the way to do it!" I shouted, my patience growing thin. "You've been doing this for three nights. If you have to keep doing it, obviously something's not working."

"What else do you want me to do! Talk to someone who 'cares'?" she sneered, mocking the last word. "News flash, I lost the one person who I thought cared about me. The one person who I thought loved me. I've got no one."

"You've got me..."

"Silence. That's what I thought. You can't stop me so either stay here or come with me."

A soft sigh of defeat...

A small shake of a head...

A reluctant voice murmured,

"I'll come."
