The day went by and it was now time for lunch, however, a certain pinkette couldn't get what he saw out of his head. It made his heart ache terribly which was a new foreign feeling he'd never experienced at least when it came to a woman despite his own mother. Natsu continued to walk down the hall deep in thought not realizing his buddy Gray Fullbuster had been calling him for the past five minutes. Her tears now implanted in his mind the tears of Ms. Heartfilia.

After coming back into the classroom I sat at my desk to find a worksheet the same worksheet that everyone else was doing at the moment. "Complete as much as you can on that worksheet Mr. Dragneel." Ms. Heartfilia instructed so I dunk down under the little compartment to pull out my backpack and that's when I saw out the corner of my eye Ms. Heartfilia crying. She had majority of her face covered with whatever reading material but her left eye was poking out the side a little and that's how I was able to see it watery seconds later it dripped down her cheek.

"She's crying..."

Seeing that made my heart cringe feelings and urges of wanting to scoop her up in my arms we're going through my head.

"Yo Flamebrain what are you doing peeking at girl's panties or something?" I heard Gray snicker causing me to shoot up giving him a glare.

"No!" I growled a little too loud.

"Mr. Dragneel is there something you'd like to share with the class?"

"Nope." I said quickly turning around looking down at my sheet avoiding eye contact.

"Why, why was she crying and why is it b__NATSU!!" I hear someone scream my name seconds later I have a sharp pain in my head.

"What the hell Gray?!" I growled enraged that he had punched my head.

"Heh, that's what you get for ignoring me!" Gray retorted cracking his knuckles.

"I wasn't ignoring you!" I argued.

"I've been calling your name for the past seven minutes!" Gray shouted in my face.

I blinked my eyes and tilted my head in confusion.

"You were?" I questioned not sure if Gray was over exaggerating again.

"Yeah, you were all zoned out and walking like a zombie or something." Gray states looking a me.

"Was I really that out of it?"

"Sorry guess I was thinking about something.." I mumbled still unable to get the image of her crying out of my mind.

"Well it better be regarding informing Coach Gildarts you won't be at practice today since you have detention." Gray reminded me causing my face to pale.

"Crap! I completely forgot about that!"

Here I am thinking about Ms. Heartfilia crying when she's the one who gave me my very first ever detention that I'll have to miss the one love of my life besides food. Basketball is my life! I've never messed a practice in my life of being on a basketball team.
