*Chapter 30*

"Lucy are you sure you're alright?" Erza asked me looking worried with concern.

"Yeah.." I replied resting my cheek on the palm of my hand. I was in deep thought trying to process everything.

"You sure? You look horrible?" Levy said bluntly. I gave her a glare before a huge sigh came out of my mouth.

"Hey, don't give me attitude you're the one who had a nightmare, not us." Levy scoffed with her arms folded.

"Levy don't be too hard on her," Erza said placing her hand upon her shoulder.

Levy sighed and went back to crunching on her salad. Since we didn't have much time to enjoy lunch as initially planned we ended up going to Braums.

Erza had the strawberry shortcake sundae and a plain Burger. I personally had ordered the Oreos cookies and cream shake and the bacon cheeseburger and fries.

Levy being a health nut got a good old fashion garden salad along with a Sherbet freeze.

"So..." Levy began. "Did you two hear we're supposed to have two new students starting?" She asked knowing about all the news and gossip happening at the school.

"We are?" I asked not having a clue about that. Erza was so into her sundae she hummed questionably in response.

"Give us the four- one- one Levy," I stated trying to be funny.

"Well, I heard Makarov and Mavis discussing new students starting sometime this week. A male and a female." Levy informed us. I frowned at the thought of another female being added to Natsu's Fuck List.

"It always warms my heart to welcome new students into FTA," Erza said with a sweet smile.

"Mhm," I replied still not too happy and of course jealous.

"Wait a minute I'm not finished with the news yet!" Levy exclaimed. "Apparently the guy is..." she leans in close as she whispered a word to make my brown pupils widen and had Erza spatting out the spoonful of sundae she had just placed in her mouth. "...Delinquent"

"No...way. A juvenile delinquent is enrolling in the school?!" I asked in complete and utter shock.

"That's quite some news there Levy," Erza said a bit more calmly than my reaction as she wiped her mouth with a napkin.

"Erza aren't you the least bit concerned hearing such news?" I asked her in my freaking out state of mind.

"Of course, I am Lucy but getting hyped up about it isn't going to solve a thing now is it." Erza placed her napkin down onto the table, then went right back to eating the remaining bit of her sundae.

"I guess you're right.." I sighed before saying "Why our school though?"

"Well, Makarov and Mavis were saying his caseworker recommended it and turns out the guy has been in and out of Foster care facilities," Levy said adjusting her glasses on her face.

"That's even more of a reason to be concerned about him joining isn't it?" I asked Levy since Erza seemed to be in her own little world while savoring every bite out of that strawberry shortcake sundae.

"I would say so." Levy agreed.

"Isn't the answer obvious ladies?" Erza asked drinking the reminding ice cream left in her bowl emptying it clean.

Levy and I just shake our heads completely lost.

"FTA is one of the highest top ranking schools, therefore, his caseworker must believe that we can help this delinquent turn over a new leaf which is why I'm showing little to no concern about this. It sounds rather fun if you ask me." Erza laughed with confidence.

"How does that sound like fun to you?!" Levy and I shouted in unison.

"Come on girls afraid of a challenge?" Erza asked eating the last bit of her burger. "Besides don't you feel honored about having such an opportunity to save someone from ruining more of their life. Someone who's probably seen things you never thought you would? Someone who's basically screaming for help?"

After Erza said that we immediately saw where she was coming from and couldn't help but to agree.

"Being a teacher isn't all sunshine and butterflies especially a high school one. If you want that then apply to be a toddler teacher." Erza said with a shrug of her shoulders.

"No way! I'm up for this challenge!!" Levy shouted placing her hand out. A wide smile grew on Erza's face as she placed her head on top of Levy's. They turn their heads looking at me. "I can't back out now!" I laughed completing our hands of unity.

"We are teachers of FTA! There's nothing we can't do!" Erza chanted Levy and I soon followed suit.

A thought came to my mind as Erza's words rung in my head. "Maybe just maybe I can change Natsu for the better."

After lunch, the day just swung on by it was now the end of school and I was tidying up my desk. The bell had just rung 10 minutes prior so I wasn't bugging when Natsu didn't make his appearance. However, once 20 more minutes added with that I went off in search for him.

"And here I thought he'd be responsible to show up and accept his punishment. Ugh, I'm so stupid to think that!" I grumbled in annoyance stomping down the hall trying to locate Pinky.

"Where is that...OOOH NATSU~!!" The voice of a female moaned.

"Shut up before someone hears us." The voice of Natsu whispered yelled on the other end of a door.

"Oh hell to the no! He is NOT doing that on my time! He's really crossed the line and now he's going to pay!"
