I watch Coraline read the book then a grab another one. I examine the cover.
A thick brown cover entitled "The History Of Ashland"
I open the first page...
I read and read the book. The first chapter is about how Ashland was founded.
The second one is about when Ashland was founded.
Third, who founded Ashland. Miss Flora Port..
There's a picture of her, looking exactly like the beldam except human...
I continue reading until I get to the last chapter..
Chapter 50th: Ashland's War
Apparently, Ashland went through a war and during it, the founder disappeared.. The well was found open when the founder disappeared. So I was correct! The well is the portal!!! The founder is the beldam!!! Ohhh no... I looked around... C-could it be... This must have been the Beldam's secret place!! I picked up another book.. I flipped through the pages until I found what I wanted... The beldam had made herself a secret room in the library.. She could find us!!!
"Coraline we're leaving!!" I say grabbing Coraline's arm.
"Why??" Coraline asks looking puzzled.
I show her what I found as a frown grew across Coraline's face.
Coraline, got her bag, and got a bunch of books and looked ready to leave..
"Ohh Coraline... You can't hide forever....." The Beldam said cackling.
I grab the book and showed Coraline a map of the library.
