Sally's Story (Romance)

Chapter Seventeen

Sally wakes up in her room. She doesn't feel like going to school today so she fakes being sick. "Mom I don't feel good today!" She calls downstairs. Her mom comes up to her room.

She feels Sally's forehead and it's burning up. "Honey you're burning up. You stay home from school today. I will call to check in on you from work." She kisses Sally forehead before leaving. Once her mom leaves she starts snickering.

"Lame." She mutters and lies there waiting to hear her mother leave. The front door opens and closes signaling that her mother just left. Sally gives it five minutes before she sits up getting up her phone.

She sits there feeling weird but passes it off. She just plays on her phone and listens to music. When her mom calls she makes it sound like her voice is going out to add effect to her 'sickness' so her mom would believe it. Sally had took drama in school and can do a lot of cool things from faking sick to make it look real, to imitating voices. After she got off the phone with her mom she lies down to take a nap.

{In the pasta mansion}

It's been two months since that faithful night when Sally killed Johnny for good. She has been asleep every since then. Ben has stayed by her side more than everyone but Hoody and Masky are a close runner up. Sally's teddy bear seems to have disappeared after the incident.

Right now Hoody and Masky are in Sally's room visiting her.

"Hey sis we still haven't found your teddy bear but we're looking for it." Masky says hoping she can hear them.

"We really miss you Sally. Please wake up soon. Ben is just a mess without you. Well, actually we all are a mess without you here running around." Hoody moves his mask up to his nose to kiss her forehead. "Hope you wake up soon." He turns to leave in the brink of tears. Masky raises his mask and kisses her forehead to before following Hoody out.

They have to keep Ben and Jill sedated a lot to keep them from harming themselves or others. While walking downstairs to go to the living room Hoody and Masky hear the laughter of a little girl. When they get downstairs everyone is just sitting there.

It is completely silent and they hear the laughing again. "Do you guys hear the girls laughter?" Hoody asked.

"We all have." Toby says.

Days turns into weeks. Weeks turn into months. Months turns into years. Sally has been asleep for two years now and the guys have stopped visiting her room trying to move on. It takes them along time but they don't think of Sally as much as before. Ben has even stopped visiting her room. He just sits in his room crying himself to sleep and then playing video games during the day.

{Back in Sally's mind}

It's been a few days since faking to be sick to get out of school. Sally is walking around at the park with Sarah and Jenny when she gets a weird feeling. It feels as if something's off. Sally let's it slide continuing on with her day. When she gets home she gets on the internet. The feeling returns.

'Something is off. This doesn't feel right. This is way off.' She thinks in her mind when an ad about masks and hoodies pops up. 'Mask... Mask... Masky.' Just then it hits her what's off. 'Wheres the pastas?'

Sally gets up and goes downstairs to the back door. Her parents look at her.

"Where are you going young lady?" Her father asked.

"Just to get some fresh air." She smiles and walks out before he can continue. When she is out of sight of her house, she runs into the woods. Sally looks around for the mansion. After about five hours she finds it. A big smile comes a crossed her face.

Sally walks up the porch and turns the knob. When she opens it a blinding light pours out of the door frame. She can hear a static sounding voice.

"If you wish to have your mortal life close the door but if you wish to return to the pastas enter the light."

Sally tries finding the source of the voice. "What do you mean?"

"If you don't want to be immortal, to have your friends and family back you must close the door. But if you like your life with the pastas walk in the door. Be warned there is no taking back your choice so chose wisely."

She stands there thinking. "But I already have a family and friends that care for me." She smiles making up her mind and walks into the light.
