What do you think when you hear social media?
Social media involves people being able to monitor or see what's happening in your life. (Depending on what site of course.)
People have the ability to have an opinion on your post.
If someone says no.
Some stranger in this world says that they dislike your post.
How do you feel?
It may be one but you're open to the whole world. (Depending on whether it's private or not....)
If that one small thumbs down is there, that could mean that there are other that will make you feel that tug on your heart. Each and every one of those dislikes can pile up, sometimes you'd brush it off. But on the inside it hurts.
It gets even worse and up can't take that one post down.
You feel so heavy.
You don't act the same way.
You just want to be fine but for some reason you don't.
You look fine but really you're not and it takes time for you to realise that there's something wrong.
You feel like all the happiness has been sucked out of you.
You think you can't feel anything anything anymore.
The only emotions you get make you break down in the shower so no one can hear you.
Acting even more strange and doing things you shouldn't do, just to wash away the regret.
Making you insane.
You're just the target for a bullet to pierce.
Deep huh. I'm thinking of writing a story similar to this. OFC it's gonna be another gay ass fanfic.
