*************
For as long as anyone could remember, there was a power hidden in Adra, in the form of a beautiful woman. For as long as any could remember she fought beside men, dwarves, and elves. For a warrior from the world of men, she was short only standing at 4'8 her eyes as bright as a cloudless summer sky, her hair the color of a raven's feathers. She was the protector of all the races who allied with her, until the fall of Durin. Durin's Bain struck a mortal blow to the woman and she entered a deep slumber.
A slumber that lasted until the last of Durin's direct line was all but spent. With her loyal friend and ally Fenris the lord of all wolves and wargs. Her blades of light and dark knew no equal and could cut through any metal. Her power lay in the world around her. Peace and passion give her Strength. Strength and knowledge gave her power. Power and serenity gave her harmony. Through harmony, she gained victory. Through balance, the force set her free.
Tallia is the Gray Jedi of Arda her, she is a warrior of great skill able to use the force and any weapon she can get her hands on. Now in the darkest hour of the house Of Durin's folk, she will make her stand leaving Hobbiton with a company of 15. She knows not where the path ahead leads, but for a woman who was alone for thousands of years, the Force places one in her path. A dwarf with dark hair and one of the three of Durin's direct line...
Tallia's POV
Hobbiton or the Shire...This is where I made my home...I awoke five years ago fully healed, to find the world hadn't changed much since I was last awake. Flashes of the Durin's bain flashed before my mind. I was as tall as a dwarf I was, but I was of the world of men. My hair long and dark, my eyes as blue as the sky on a summer day, my skin kissed by the sun. Many confuse me as a beardless Dwarf to which I would smile and reply "I have spent time in the company of Dwarves, Men, and Elves and never once has anyone insulted me." I would say.
I was in the middle of cooking second Breakfast when there was a knock at the door. Fenris got up from his spot on the floor and padded over as I paused in my cooking to follow. I opened the door to see my dear Bilbo "Good morning my dear Bilbo." I greeted
"Good morning Tallia, good morning Lord Fenris." Bilbo greeted handing Fenris a honey biscuit into which the lord of wolves and wrags greedily ate.
I allowed Bilbo inside as I went to finish cooking "What can I do for you today Bilbo my friend?" I asked
"Lobelia Sackville-Baggins is starting up her tongue wagging again," Bilbo growled
"Why does that not shock me, that woman is dreadful how anyone puts up with her is beyond me," I said.
I was running low on somethings and would have to go into town soon. I looked at Bilbo as he continued his rant about his kin. I nodded "Well, she sounds like I need to have a talk with her again." I said.
Bilbo laughed at that as I handed him a plate of food "Thank you, Tallia." Bilbo said.
We sat and ate in silence when all was done Bilbo and I headed to the market while Fenris went hunting. The Market was teeming with hobbits this day "Good day Lady Tallia." a woman said
"Good day to you as well Rose, your flowers look lovely," I said admiring their beauty
"Indeed they are," Bilbo said
"Which reminds me, Rose, I checked my roses recently and guess what I found among them," I said
"Oh do tell," Rose said
"A blue rose bloom," I said
"A blue rose you say?" Rose asked shocked
"I bought one with me," I said.
I pulled the blue rose out of my basket and Rose's eyes went wide "It is beautiful Lady Tallia, I have never seen a rose this color." Rose said
"I think it has to do with the other color roses I have," I explained handing it to her
"I would love to get the plant from you so I can plant it with my other roses," Rose said
"I will gather the seeds for you," I said
"An odd color for a rose." a voice said causing Bilbo to cringe slightly
"Good day Lobilla, how are you this day?" I ask
"I am well Lady Tallia, I must say, Rose your rose garden is looking lovely this year," Lobilla said
"Why thank you, I have room for more, Lady Tallia was just saying she was going to collect seeds for a Blue rose bush," Rose said
"It is indeed lovely, an impossible color for a rose," Lobilla said
"Just because something is viewed as unattainable and impossible doesn't mean that it is so," I replied
"The perfect meaning for such a beautiful flower." Master Gamgee said.
I smiled softly "Thank you Lobilla, you and I came up with a meaning for the first Blue rose grown here in the shire." I said.
Lobilla forced a smile "Indeed we did, though I must say though it is lovely." she agreed.
After getting what I needed Bilbo and I headed back to his place for the night knowing I wouldn't make it back to my hole before nightfall. That night when I went to sleep a force vision came to me...
Force Vision
A war between men, dwarf, elf, and orc raged around me. At its center were three Dwarves, all three were of Durin's line...the last of the mainline... Each one falling to a pale orc...
'Tallia my old friend, you are ready to fulfill your destiny protect the line of Durin at all cost don't let them fall...' a familiar voice said
'Lord Revan.' I said in shock
'You have grown in power my dear friend, protect them...Gray Jedi are allowed attachments use those to your advantage and remember...the force will be with you always.' Revan said
I awoke from my vision the fighting from my dream seemed to be at the foot of Erebor, the lonely mountain. Elrond told me that Smaug would have to be taken care of so Durin's folk could retake their home. I set my feet on the floor and made my way out of my room and found Bilbo outside talking with...by the maker Gandalf the Gray...
