Tallia's POV

I watched as the company's leader walked into the room, the way he carried himself signified he was royalty. I watched as he circled Bilbo asking what his weapon of choice would be "If you must know I have taken lessons with Lady Tallia." Bilbo stated as a matter of fact tone that made me smirk.

The leader looked taken back at his words "The guardian of the house of my forefathers?" he asked.

The other dwarves looked floored except the four who knew that I was in the home with them "I would appreciate it if you didn't demand answers from my padawan." I said.

Everyone turned to see me leaning against the framing of the wall as I looked at their leader. I could feel the darkness within him, it was suppressed, but I knew I would have to keep a close eye on him. His blue eyes looked at me assessing my worth "Where were you when Erebor fell?" he demanded

"If you must know, I was still recovering from my fight against the Durin's bain," I replied swiftly and coolly, "For over 2000 years I slept recovering from my burns and wounds, I apologize if I couldn't come to your rescue."

The leader's eyes softened "Forgive me, My Lady, I didn't know you were that gravely injured." he said

"You are forgiven son of Durin, come you must eat," I said walking into the kitchen.

Third person POV

As everyone began to sit down again Tallia gave Thorin soup that she had set aside for him. Thorin nodded to her politely "Bilbo, could we get some more light please?" Gandalf asked

Bilbo nodded as Gandalf began to lay down a map to Erebor, the lonely mountain.  Tallia eyed it warily as Gandalf looked at her in worry "I fear before the end of this journey some of us won't make it back." she said gravely

Thorin looked at her "My lady?" he asked

"I had a vision recently when your mountain is reclaimed the enemy shall come three of you will die." she said, "A fate that will not come to pass as long as I draw breath."

Thorin nodded "I trust your words Lady Tallia, but I must know why here?" he asked

"It is peaceful, hardly anything goes on and is an easy target for attack," she replied, "Even though I may leave for a time doesn't mean it won't be protected."

"Lord Fenris," Balin said

"Yes, Balin he is putting together his most trusted and loyal packs around the Shire. He knew this day would come and wishes those who live here protection while we are gone," she said

"How is the Lord of Wolves and Wargs these days?" Balin asked causing Thorin's mouth to drop open

"He is well, though he isn't too proud of the fact that is Warg children are corrupted beyond the point of redemption." she said, "Wargs were never meant for the Orc, they were meant for the Dwarves."

Gandalf looked at Tallia in shock as there was a scratch at the door "Speak of the Lord." she said with a smile.

Bilbo went to the front door and after a time Bilbo and Fenris entered the dining room. Fenris's green eyes scanned the dwarves at the table taking in their scents for protection. Bilbo went over and got a basket of honey baskets and set them down for him "Fenris is addicted to those things." Tallia pointed out to Bilbo.

The hobbit chuckled running a hand through Fenris's fur as he ate "Indeed he does, it also keeps his coat healthy and shinning." Bilbo said

"That it does." Tallia laughed.
