Two buttons appeared in front of me, they were labelled ‘Continue’ and ‘Reset’. Inhaling deeply, I reached for the ‘continue’ button, pressing it with the lightest touch. “Good luck!” was the last thing I heard from Chara before I found myself back in that golden hall.

He stood there in the middle of the hall, just like he did before. “Well, you certainly took your time with that one.” He laughed when I approached. “But, it doesn’t look like you’ve changed your mind.” With a low sigh, he summoned his attacks. They floating around him in a visually pleasing pattern, illuminated with a blue aura. “Let’s skip the boring part and just get one with it, shall we?” The bones charged at me with a great deal of speed. Knife’s blade outwards, I dashed towards the attacks, jumping, ducking, and dodging them all. His face was filled with shock at my skills. I chose my time to strike – then and there. Whilst he was still processing the information, I charged at him, swift on my feet. Swinging my blade, I managed to cut a piece of his jacket before he dodge. I kept swinging, him dodging each one of them before he hoist me up into the air. He smashed me into the walls, the roof, and the floor until a hot liquid seeped from my forehead. Letting my body fall to the ground, he summoned a sea of bones on the floor just below. With all the strength I had, I turned into an upright position just in time to land on top of the attack. Running across it towards him, I jumping off the hard sea and headed straight for him. He throw a few bones at me, one only just cutting my arm. Just before I could strike, a giant skull-like entity appeared, floating above my head. I had never seen anything like this before. Could he always do that?

I stared at this creature, eyes wide in shock and wonder. It opened its’ mouth oh so slightly, a blue ball of light forming. I watched as the ball grew bigger and bigger until it shot out of its mouth. I dodged the beam just in time. Looking back, the ground the beam hit was black – charcoaled and smoking. More and more appeared, circling me. One after the other, the beams shot straight for me. I ran, only just dodging each one as their heat almost burnt my back. “You like them?” he asked, “I call them ‘Gaster Blasters’. Powerful, aren’t they?” He grinned at me as I charged towards him. Finally, I could strike. He stood there as I raised my blade, closing my eyes and making my attack. Not feeling any sign of impact, my eyes shot open. He was gone – out of sight. I frantically looked around my field of vision. From behind me, I heard a disturbance in wind. Something was shooting through it. I whipped around, seeing bones flying at me. I slashed at the first two, knocking them of course, and caught the third one right before it made contact with my skin.
