I said it. I finally told her I liked her. I looked up to see a flustered Y/n. I tried to think of something.
"Y/n, you don't have to answer straight away. I'll wait for your answer but for now let's stay as friends." I said.
She looked at me and smiled, "Thank you for liking me but are you free this weekend? I want to relax and clear my mind."
~*~*TIME SKIP*~*~
I arrived early at the carnival and waited for Y/n to arrive. I checked my watch, "Felix!" I looked up.
Y/n ran through the crowd, she got closer and tripped. Before I knew it, my body reacted by itself. I caught her, "You're still so clumsy," I teased.
"Whatever," she pouted and dusted herself off.
I took her on the carousel and other rides. I glanced her, she was smiling a smile I'd never seen before. I felt a soft tug on my sweater, "Felix let's go on that!"
I looked where she pointed, "Yah, don't you dislike rides like that?" I said.
"I'll be fine, I have you to cling on," she shyly said. She quickly ran to the line of the swinging boat. I smiled and jogged over to her. We sat in the seats and strapped ourselves in. The boat started rocking, it started slowly then quickly picked up pace. Y/n was enjoying herself, she was smiling and screaming. She put her hands up as the boat rocked, suddenly she clung on to my arm.
I blushed, "You okay?"
"My butt lifted off the seat, that's all," she chuckled.
The ride finished, and Y/n still had her arm linked with mine. She noticed I was looking at our arms and she quickly apologised and unlinked her arm.
"Let's get ice-cream," I suggest.
I ordered two vanilla ice cream cones. We found a bench to sit on, we sat in silence as we ate.
"Wow! Those rides were so fun!" Y/n took another lick of her ice-cream. The sun hid its light beneath the buildings, and the stars start coming up one by one. "It's really beautiful," she said looking to the sky.
"Just like you," I whisper under my breath.
"Hmm???" she looked at me.
"Uh, nothing!" I took a look at her, there was ice cream on the corner of her lips. "Stay still," I say.
I moved closer to her and wiped the ice cream with my tissue. She seemed startled.
I walked her home, "Good bye, see you at school." I waved.
We were still at her door, "Now that I think about it, I think I admired Chan for his way of teaching and caring. He was like an ideal big brother." Y/n smiled. She walked in but quickly ran out and hugged me. "Thank you," she whispers.
~*~ SCHOOL~*~
Mr Park walked in, "Everyone quiet, we have a new student."
A girl walked in, "Hello, my name's Allison Kim. Please call me Ally."
"Take a seat next to Felix for now," Mr Park nodded in my direction.
The new girl walked towards me, she smiled and sat beside me. She fluttered her eyelashes at me and said hi. I awkwardly said hi and glanced at Y/n who was looking at me. She didn't seem happy.
After class I walked over to Y/n, "Let's go it's recess."
She nods and packs her things. We were about to leave when Ally linked her arm with me and said I still had to show her around. I removed my arm from her and sighed.
"The Principal and other students showed you around already." I was getting annoyed by her flirting and clinginess.
Y/n suddenly dragged me out of the classroom, "Don't hang out with her. She annoys me." She frowned and stomped off.
I smiled and caught up to her. Was Y/n perhaps... jealous???
"If you don't like Ally then I won't talk to her. I'll ask Mr Park to sit her beside another girl."
