I found myself sitting in Mr Park's Math class...in front of a practice test for our actual exam which was next week. I shouldn't have procrastinated my math revision. I looked at the paper again....
Thursday arrived, and we received our marks back. "Felix, how come your grades are always high?" I looked over at his test paper to see a 100% and red A.
"Maybe because I never procrastinate and spend my time wisely. Unlike you...' he squirmed over my desk to see a 79% and C+. "What have you been doing?" he teased.
I hit his shoulder in annoyance. Felix saw Chan and was going to call out to him but stopped when a girl ran up to him and slipped her hand into his. "Chan was saying something about a girlfriend yesterday. So, she must be Chan's girlfriend."
I looked at where he was looking. Sure enough, they were holding hands, "Felix, lets go." I said trying not to break into tears.
*~*Time Skip*~*
FELIX's POV~
Should I call her? She seemed really upset when she saw Chan and his girlfriend.
At that moment my phone rang. Y/n was calling me! I quickly answered it.
Y/n: "Hello?"
Me: "Hey, you ok. You looked like you were gonna cry."
Y/n: "It's fine. I was just shocked that he had a girlfriend." She chuckled.
Me: "They started dating on Monday. Didn't he tell you?"
Y/n: "No..."
I could tell she was tearing up on the other side of the phone.
Me: "Yah, why are you crying. Are you ok? You can tell me anything."
Y/n: "I really like him. I started liking him since we started high school...when he became my tutor.
I sat on my bed in silence. I listened to her and comforted her. I was hurt by how much she liked him, but I knew I still had a chance.
Me: "It'll be okay. You still have me..."
Y/n: "Mm... I love you Felix. I have to go now bye.
She ended the call. I sighed in disappointment. I kept replaying her voice "I love you Felix." I knew she didn't mean it in that way.
*~*Next Day, Friday*~*
I saw her about to walk into the cafeteria. I quickly caught up to her and ruffled her hair.
"Hey, sleepy head."
"Hey," she sighed.
Chan and his girlfriend came up and greeted us.
"Y/n, you haven't met my girlfriend, Lisa." Chan said.
"No, but I've heard of her. It's nice to meet you though." I said, looking at Lisa.
Lisa smiled back and excused themselves. I looked at Y/n to check if she was ok. She was forcing herself to smile. When they left I hugged Y/n. She seemed startled by the sudden action.
"Will you tell him tonight?" I asked.
All she did was nod.
