Naruto's mask

chapter 1

October 10 is a very special day because of one thing, the nine-tailed kyuubi attack. Many people had died that day. But there was a boy born the same night of the many deaths.

His name was Naruto Namikaze-Uzumaki. The son of the fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and to Kushina Uzumaki. He has bared a hared burden since the first couple minutes after birth.

The nine-tailed kyuubi was sealed inside of him for the sake of he village, by his father.

That same night the two parents died to protect him and the village.

Naruto's father had sealed it in the boy to protect the village, and he wanted his son to be seen as a hero.

But the opposite had happened.

About three years after the attack the villagers had begun to abuse the poor blonde. They had seen him as the kyuubi itself and not him for him. Blinded by there sadness and hatred. None had seen the loneliness inside Naruto's eyes, and the none-understanding on why this was happening to him.

But one night they had taken it to far.

~~~ Naruto's P.O.V ~~~

Run. Running until I can't run any longer. That is what I do in a daily basis. And its what i'm doing right now.......to stop the pain. I look behind me to see if the I had lost my pursuers. Only to fined them chasing as always yelling the same things. 'Monster', 'Demon', 'killer'. But I don't ever remember killing anyone, and as far as i know i'm no monster nor demon either.

But it comes to a point to were i can't run anymore, and to come to a ally with a died end, like always.

"You will pay for the lives you toke from us." said an enraged man holding kunai in his right hand.

The others had agreed with the man. Ever so slowly coming closer to my shaking body, the closer they got the more weapons would appear. This causing my body to shake with shivers going down my spine in the process.

'have I actually done something and just not remember doing it. Do I truly deserve this.' These thoughts ran through my head trying to come with a conclusion as to why this was happening to me.

"You murdered my husband, my kids, my brother, MY WHOLE FAMILY! And this is for all the sadness and death you caused." A women ,about middle aged, yelled her rage at me.

I don't say or do anything back because i know that there just sad like me. The only difference is the way we are handling it in different ways.

Soon enough they get tired of my unresponsive reaction. And everyone is gone, leaving me alone in the alleyway to bleed to death.

And eventually everything turns black.

Slowly I begin to gain conscious to find myself in what seems to be.......a sewer?

Looking around there is only one way to go. So like any other child my age curiosity got the better of me and I cautiously follow the path. Not long after i began my walk I end up in a HUG area with a cage in front of me.

"H-hello? Is anyone there?" My voice echos through the room.

"So my container has come for a visit now have you?" A demonic like voice roars loudly seemingly from behind the cage.

"Umm container? Who are you?" I question the voice.

"I am the Kyuubi No kitsune, the nine-tailed fox. And if I wasn't sealed inside you I would have killed you by now." The now known kyuubi exclaimed.

After he had announced this, red eyes opened and the shadow covering the said fox was lifted revealing a huge fox looking down at me. I stare in aw at the magnificent creature before me with a calculating look on my face.

' If he is sealed inside of me then doesn't that mean the Hokage would seal a creature with such power to someone he trusted? But he had sealed kyu inside me so if I'm right about the situation I'm in I should at lest be related to him so... son? But what I can't figure out is what should a being this powerful would have to attack the village. Unless it wasn't him. Could he have been controlled by someone against the village. How would they have controlled kyu a tailed beast at that the ninth. What could be powerful enough to do so? Not the Byakugan so it has to be the Sharingan.'

My thoughts run through my head trying to fill in the gapes of information missing. It wasn't till i looked up to confirm my hypothesis that i see the extremely shocked and bewildered face of kyu. So me being me tilt my head slightly in confusion.

"Umm kyu are you okay? Why do you look so shocked?" I asked innocently.

" Y-you just f-figured that out all just from my introduction. And y-you figured t-things that no one would have e-ever thought of to, and to s-somehow end up with every thing right. I-its just unheard of even with how long I've lived. Its kind of scary, that mind of yours." Kyu proclaimed in shock and surprisingly slight fear.

"Oh so I was right..........OKAY! So kyu whats your name?" I asked not knowing his name.

"Gee wow kit I praise you and that's the reaction i get, thanks. But the names Kurama kit. How old are you and whats the name?" kyu asked me with sarcasm at first.

"Well I'm Naruto Uzumaki and my 4th birthday is tomorrow. And I love your name kyu." I answered his question with complete honesty still using the nick name that he doesn't seem to mind.

He blushes at the complement and says "Well thanks I have never been complemented before an-. WAIT YOUR ONLY FOUR!" Kyu yelled the last part surprised at my age.

"Yes and your welcome for the complement kyu. I think everyone should at least be complemented and have a friend no matter who they are. That being said well you be my first friend kyu?" I asked with an eye closed smile.

" I would love to thank you kit." kyu softly said to me.

My feet start to slowly fade away 'I guess I'm waking up if this is my mind.' I thought getting a nod from kyu about my thought.

" when you wake you will be all heal from me and we can now talk through thought. Till next time kit. and I will help train you to keep you safe kit alright?" Kyu said before i saw darkness once again.
