His eyes glowed, a light yellow, slight puffs of air came out of his nose as his head slumped onto my shoulder. Everything in me told me to push him off, to slap him up the head and walk away. I just, I just couldn't. His face, I saw every puff of air that came from him and I couldn't do anything, there wasn't air...it was, it was air, but so colorful. Air, it wasn't white, but I just saw it, pink, or blue, or dancing, skipping.

"Will", I nudged his head, watching as how pink swirls floated from his lips, a whimper, I didn't here it, I've never heard him ever, I just saw the sound, the feeling. Everything, everything was so blunt, I don't know what else to say, blunt. "Will, move your ass now before I throw you off the side of a building". The other boy chuckled, translucent bubbles floating by his squeezed shut eyes.

"I'm sorry Will".

"What the fuck are you talking about". Dipper hesitated, his breath turning shallow as he struggled to find the right words, he'd never had anything like this happen to him before.

"Ford, I-I, well i-it's just that..that I". Dipper sighed, raking his fingers along the bandages as Ford continued to pace the length of the room. "He know's where Mabel lives now, doesn't he". Dipper sighed, scratching at his cheeks, flicking strands of hair from his face as his swivel chair spun to follow Ford, feet facing forward, eyes flicking across the room. "He doesn't know it's my sister though, he-he thinks she's a friend, potential lover..which, I think put's Mabel in more danger then if he knew I had a sister".

"I think you need to stay away from her for a while, Mabel doesn't need to be in this danger, Bill...he, he vowed, he vowed remember, to kill everyone in our family". Dipper coughed, fiddling with the hang nails on his thumb, chewing on peeling skin.

"I-I don't want to, I really don't to", Ford sighed, reaching under his glasses to rub his tired eyes, a storm cloud of sleep hanging around them. "I know you don't Dipper, but I know he won't let you go back, even if she's not your lover, he's delusional". Ford slumped down into a chair, pooling his toes into the black shag carpet, the bright white walls glowing from the room's light, monitors with pictures of mountains hummed in the background. "I know he won't, what, I, I'm sorry, I know this is going to sound selfish but..but I was wondering, would me going, going to vacation h-help in anyway, at all".

Ford's lips quirked up and he began to pull out his phone, punching something into the screen.

"Well, you and Mabel could head to Hawaii for their local ghost hunt, following specters and benevolent spirit gods across the island to connect with their gods and nature. It even includes a traditional luau at the end of every hike, event goes on for a week, I could pay f-for you guys for, for um, for a month, how does that sound". Dipper dropped his attention from his ravaged lips, his hands falling to his sides,

"Oh my lord, are you serious Ford, are you like...serious". Ford chuckled, "Do I ever joke about having fun". Dipper smirked, his eyes lighting up as he opened his mouth to speak, "Nope, I don't want to hear your opinion mister, I could easily take away your rights to a vacation, or give it to just Mabel".

"Fine then...I'll just go ask, I m-mean talk to the patient, gah I mean, well, you know". Ford sighed, the cloud of exhaustion growing on his face,

"Just be careful son, I'll be right here if anything goes wrong". Dipper nodded, clicking the pass-code into the door before walking out, listening to his feet patter on the metal floor, a cold hum clung to his feet as he turned to his patients room.
