Chapter 15; Back To School

Since breaking down in the library, Terra tried her best to revamp herself and her behavior. Today was the day she'd be going back to school. It was a Tuesday. The time was 5:55 in the morning. Terra wore a white dress with a pastel blue cardigan and white sneakers. She twists her ring nervously as she exits the room. "Shifty! Come on! It's gonna be fun!" She hears the voice of The Unknown from afar as Shifty dashes through the walls. "NO! Me no school!" She calls and tries to find a hiding spot. "Shifty!!" TU runs out from the room and greets Terra. "Have you seen Shifty?" She asked, hands filled with clothing. Terra points to a direction as Jade runs down the area she pointed.

Snow walks down the stairs. The whole downstairs was silent. No-one was awake except for Snow; herself, TU and Shifty. She sighs and decides to make breakfast for everyone. An act of kindness she could do for today since her chat with Unknown. "Finally. Oh! You cook?" TU asked, walking into the kitchen with Shifty following behind. Clawing at the clothing she wore. Snow nods and ask her for help to which she gladly did. The time struck 6am. Everyone was now awake and inside the kitchen. Munching on breakfast. TU wrote inside her new journal and snacked on a cupcake, despite the early hour of time.

I always eat cupcakes. Time doesn't matter to me.
To others, it does.

"Wow, these are good! Jade thanks for the breakfast!" Eyeless Jack states whilst chewing his kidney. "I, uh..actually didn't make breakfast..? Well technically I did yet I didn't?" Jade asked unsure of how to explain it. "Then who did?" Slender asked confused. As far as he knew there were only a few members who knew how to cook. Jade, EJ, Ticci couple and BP. However BP only made coffee, EJ only prepared organs, Jade didn't cook today and Ticci couple only ever made waffles. "Snow did." Everyone's eyes widened and stared at the girl who only continued to eat her food. "What? Got a problem?" She asked as she looked at them, blank face as always. "No...It's just...new...?" Hoodie says. Slowly eating his food. "I didn't add anything harmful. Well, maybe to Monocrap's..." Laughing Jack stops mid-bite and spits the food out. The whole room became silent. No-one talked. The only sound being made was Laughing Jack's groaning and puking.

"Snowy! I thought I said no poisoning! Especially LJ!!" The Unknown scolded the ice queen. "Yeah, and I didn't. The bottle's still in the cupboard. Check if ya want," Unknown rushes to the cupboard and checked. The poison was in fact still there. Not a single drop used. She sighs and closes the door of the cupboard. "We're gonna be late. Let's go." Jade spoke out as the ones who attend school finished their plates and rushed out the door. Snow only teleported out. "Shifty, I forgot something or you." Shifty stopped outside the masion and waited.

TU ran inside to grab something. "Where did I put it?" Jade looked through all the draws. "You looking for this thing?" Jeff said handing her the item. "Thanks." Jade rushed back out the door to see Helen waiting for her with Shifty.

Why does Jeef have it?
He thought it looked cool I think. Not entirely sure.

"Got it." She approaches Shifty and hooks the item around her neck. Shifty stands like a normal human, her teeth weren't as sharp and her tail and ears looked like they were just pinned on. "There. As long as you wear that collar you will look like a human who wishes they were a creature. Your mental state is still the same though. Well, now shall we?" Jade says extending out her hand for Shifty to take. The girls takes her alpha's hand and walked cheerfully through the dark forest.

They reached the end of the forest and onto the main street. "That's kind of new for you sis," Sylvia says, walking beside her sister, arms behind her back. "You make it seem like it's a bad thing," Lily stated as she looked ahead. "It's not. Just weird of you." Sylvia says. Everyone else listened to the two's conversation, not wanting to interrupt. The group hadn't realise they had reached the school. "Whatever, let's go to class," Lily says and pulls Sylvia with her to their homeroom.

"Oh. Miss.Reed. So nice of you to return to school." Their homeroom teacher spoke as she marks Terra as present. "Yeah well if I had to choose I'd rather be at home instead of seeing your ugly face." Lily says as she sits down in the back row of the classroom. "Oh my," The teacher says. A hand over her chest, offended at Lily's words. "That wasn't very nice," Sylvia says as she sat besides her 'friend'. Lily looks at her. "When am I ever nice?" Sylvia only nodded. Agreeing to her statement. The bell soon rang, signalling the first period. Lily walked out with her books in hand, stopping at a empty classroom. She was the first to arrive surprisely.

"Oh? Miss.Reed? This is a first." Her English teacher spoke as she opens the door, allowing the girl to enter. "I thought I'd be early today," Lily says and sits in the middle row. Completely different from her usual spot in the back row. Other students filled the room and found a spot to sit down at. A girl walked up to lily, gesturing to the seat besides her. "Can I sit here?" She asked the cold girl, who nodded.

"My name's Roxy. Are you new? I haven't seen you around before," She asked Lily. "No. Been here since the the start of the year, haven't attend because of...reasons." She couldn't tell this random girl about her killing people and that she did that as a hobby. Roxy nods and turns to the board, ready to pay attention to the teacher. However she was too fascinated with Lily. Roxy faced the girl. "What's your name? I never got it,." She says. "Lily. Now leave me alone." Terra says, glaring at the girl besides her before paying attention to class. Roxy sighs. Thinking of way to get this girl to open up to her.

Is it bad that i already want to kill Roxy?

"Alright class, the use of grammar is for what?" The teacher asked as she point to a student who answers correctly. "Correct! The use of grammar is for us to --" She was cut off with the door opening. It was male. He wore a hoodie, a pair of black ripped jeans and sneakers. Typical Bad boy. "Mr.O'Reilly. You're late." The teacher says. Walking over to her desk to update the roll. "Yeah, I've noticed. Being forced to come. Rather kill myself then listen to your blabbering." The guy spoke as he walked over to the only spare seat left inside the classroom. Besides Lily. "Hey cutie." He says as he sat down besides her. Lily ignores him. "Name's Kaeden. What 'bout you?" He asked.

"Alright, now let's --" The door opened again. "For goodness sakes!! CaN I TeAcH A CLasS??!" Lily's english teacher yelled, anger that she had yet to start her actual lesson. "Sorry..? But I need Lily. Family Emergency." Jade says as Lily stood up confused. "Fine! Just Get out of my class!" The old female yells as Lily grabs her things and exit the classroom.

"Family emergency?" Terra asked as she and Jade walked through the halls, meeting with Soul, Shifty and Frozen Crystal. "Mission at the mansion. Slender said there's people burning and cutting the forest down." Only those words cause Snow to be angry. She cared about the forest, so did the others. "Jeff's here with the van, let's go." The group rushes to the van and Jeff drives quickly to the forest. "Guys! It's getting worse!" Tina yelled whilst pointing to the forest in front of them. "Oh. They're so dead." Soul says as they all disband into separate directions.
