Chapter 20; Snow's Short Date

Snow smiles as she glances in the mirror. Her mouth curved into a wide grin as she grabs her belongings and waved farewell to her housemates. "I'm off!!" She shouts into the house before slamming the door shut. Making her way down to the local mall, she appears in front of her date. "Boo!" She calls as lightly pressed onto his shoulders. "Hey!" The girl laughs at the boy. "That's rude Lily!" He scolds as he lightly shoved her. Laughing. "What do you wanna do first?" Kaeden asked as the two walked into the mall. His arm around her shoulders. "Maybe we could get some food? I'm hungry~" Lily chuckles as she smiles. 'He's kinda cute..' Kaeden nods and two head to the food court. The pair agree on a restaurant; that being McDonalds. Lily orders ice cream and he orders fries. Sitting down in at a table in the middle, the two begin to chat about their school and their friends/classmates.

"So, you're friends with Jade?" Kaeden asked, munching on a fry. "Yeah, she's my best friend. We're almost like sisters." Lily says, scooping a fair amount of ice cream before plopping it into her mouth. "Do you know what's up with her recent attitude, I heard that normally she's cheerful. And what's with her eye?" Kaeden questions. "I don't know. I've asked but she won't say anything except for me to stop asking." Lily responds. "Anyway, how does she know my name? You talk about me much?" He raises his eyebrow in a teasing manner. "In your dreams. Jade's been at your school for the longest time. She basically knows everyone there!" Lily scoffs and rolls her eyes at the boy. "Aww, you don't talk 'bout me to ya fam?" He asked, pouting.

Lily reaches over the table and..............

He looks intrigued by the girls actions...

She flicks his forehead. Ya'll thought they gonna kiss?!! Hell nah! "Never in a million years would i do that." Lily states and sits back on her seat. The male groans in pain, rubbing his forehead as he stared at the girl. "Not close to them?" She scoffs again. "My relationship between myself and my family has no relevance to you." She crosses her arms above her chest. She had sadly finished her ice cream and he had finished his fries. The two just sat there in the middle of the food court, talking. Suddenly the topic of Roxy had reached their conversation.

"You're friends with Roxy?" Kaeden was surprised. "Yes and no. I can't stand her. She's forcing me to be friends with her." Lily groans. The male chuckles at her behaviour and pats her head, resulting with him receiving a burning glare. "Then why be friends?" He asked.

"Reasons."

Looking around the area, Lily's eyes landed on a familiar figure. A shadow. Tall. Scruffy. Lily couldn't help but mentally laugh. What he was doing there, she had no clue. How he got there, probably from a child. "I hate that girl." She tunes back to Kaeden. Smiling as she nodded. "She has such a high pitched voice, and her clothing. Jus - urgh!" He says in pure disgust. "Speak of the devil..." Lily points towards a direction. He sighs and lightly bangs his head against the table.

"OH! Kaeden! Lily," Lily mentally laughs at how Roxy said Kaeden's name cheerfully yet she said hers with pure disgust. She jogs her way towards the 'couple', her chest bouncing. You had to make a note of that? Yes. She's a slut. It had to be done. The two turn away with their faces scrunched up. Roxy then squeezes her way in between Lily and Kaeden. Hugging his arm tightly with a smile. "Maybe you should go Lils~ Kaeden and I will have fun together!" She looks at Kaeded with a flirty smile.  "Be my guest!" Lily laughs as Kaeden looks at her. His face filled with fear, shock and 'god-please-help-me.' Lily chuckles and leaves the two. She turns to face Kaeden, he hated Roxy's presence. The female decided to spend the day shopping for new things. Maybe treat herself to a manicure.
