Chapter 3
*rains P.O.V*
As we're making out I hear a car pull up in the driveway and I push away from KT
"What's wrong"
KT asks me with a worried look on his face
"It's not you... I think my moms home we better get inside"
I say and smile
"Oh okay"
He says with a relief look on his face
We get out of the pool and head in with our towels and my mom walks through the door way
"Oh hello boys... Keagan we haven't see you around lately"
My mom says looking at KT
"Ugh y-yea I've got behind on my homework but in caught up know"
KT says smiling at my mom
I have no idea why she calls him Keagan I've told her a million times to call him KT but she just won't
"Okay we'll I hope to see you around more... would you like to stay for supper"
My mom says and smiles at KT
"Love too miss.Ryain"
KT says and we walk up to my room
*KTs P.O.V*
I walk around rains room trying not to make eyes contact with him
"Ugh KT what was that about,I'm not saying I didn't like it,but...aren't you straight?"
Rain asks me quietly looking at the ground and I sit on his bed
"Here rain, sit and I'll tell you the whole story"
Rain sits next to me and looks at me with a smile.
"We'll when I was about 13 or 14 I realized I was gay I tried to like girls but I just didn't. After a while I thought I was straight but that's when you kissed me and it never felt like that when I was with a girl so I was finally gonna tell my parents but when I told them about you being gay they FREAKED out and my mom said "he's never aloud in my house again that little fagot" I tried defending you "his not a bad person he's the same guy he was yesterday" but she just wouldn't believe me "no he's not he's gonna burn in hell for his sins"
My eyes filled with tears but I wouldn't let one fall down my face. they told me to never hang out with you that you would bring me to hell with you but I told them they couldn't do that. That you where my best friend and that's when my dad came up and punched me right on my jaw. I could feel my mouth fill with blood from my gums hitting my teeth and I spit it out as more filled my mouth "don't ever talk to your mother that way" I spit out more blood "yes father" I said holding back my tears "now go clean you self up" he said as both my parents left the room.
So I guess if they find out I'm gay who knows what will happen, who knows what they'll do to me"
I say and cover my face trying to hide the tears running down my face just talking about it.
"I'm soo sorry KT I didn't mean to do this to you"
Rain says rubbing my back
"You didn't do this to me"
I say wiping away my tears
"Yes I did if you didn't tell your parents, if I didn't tell you, You wouldn't be in this situation... if I wasn't gay this would of never happened"
I look over at rain as he talks and see tears fill his eyes
"NO rain you didn't do this DONT blame yourself for my parents"
He looks up at and smiles as a tear runs down his beautiful face and I slowly caress his face and wipe away the tear with My thumb and lean in and kiss his forehead. We lock eyes and I lean in and kiss him softly on the lips.
*rains P.O.V*
I can't believe this is happening I've loved him for so Long and he finally loves me back... my mom calls us for supper and I smile at him and stand up. We start to walk down stares and he rests his hand on my hip. We get down stares and my mom looks at us and smiles
"Is there something you too would like to tell me?"
She says grinning like an idiot and I look at KT and smile
"Umm it's complicated"
I say to my mom
"Okay"
She says and we walk and sit next to each other at the table And my mom sits across from us and we start eating
"KT do you want a ride home?"
My mom asks
"No thanks I'll walk"
KT says and smiles at me
" I'll walk you home"
I say and smile back. A while later we finish eating and leave me house.
