It all started long ago, before the first vampires. Kol and Henrik Mikaelson married two beautiful young women-who happens to be best friends despite their age distance. They both got pregnant around the same time. A week later, Henrik died and Kol turned, none of the two with the knowledge of becoming fathers.
Nine months later, two gorgeous girls were born and sadly the mothers died. A few minutes after the untimely death, a black haired lady stepped into the hut, that contained the two crying babies and the sleeping witch, Ayana. The lady was a witch and she silenced the infants while she picks them up carefully then disappears into the darkness of the village.
They were taken by their Aunt Dahlia and lived with her and their Aunt Freya who was also taken when she was five.
Their names are Madelaine Mikaelson and Gweneive Mikaelson.
They were allowed to walk the earth for a full year and at the end of the year they would sleep for a century so on and so on until finally they ran away with their aunt Freya. Although they still have to sleep for a hundred years.
They left Freya's care and decided to explore the world whilst still in contact with their Aunt.
