Talk With Roni

Tilly was drawing the troll again, she was enjoying the peace that it brought her, to be with her old friend drawing, she needed after what had happened with Margot. Margot, Tilly's thoughts went back to her brunette friend, of former friend, she didn't know if she could still call her friend, after all, she felt betrayed by her. Margot knew that Tilly needed her pills, and she chose to hide them from her, forcing Tilly to have one of her bad days. The blonde girl shook her head and went back to drawing, wanting to forget about the bartender for now.

"Hey, Tilly" Tilly looked down and saw the bar owner, Roni, standing in front of the troll, smiling so brightly that it made the younger girl smile too.

"Hi, I'm sorry, but I don't think I got your name" Tilly said apologetically.

"Don't worry, my name's Roni" Roni said.

"Oh well, hi Roni" Tilly said more cheerfully, making Roni grin at her.

"You know, I'm good friends with Detective Rogers and Detective Weaver, they talk about you a lot whenever they visit"

"Good things, I hope" Tilly tried to make it sound like a joke, but the tremble in her voice gave away her nervousness.

"Yeah, don't worry, they care about you a lot" Roni said, watching closely for Tilly's reaction.

"Yeah, they both look out for me, like my fathers" Tilly said with a laugh.

"I see, but hey, I actually came here to talk about my niece, Margot" Roni said, almost feeling bad when Tilly's face fell at the mention of the brunette's name.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to talk about her" Tilly said quickly.

"I know what happened, she told me. And I understand you might feel betrayed by her, but she didn't do it out of malice, not even close. She cares about, a lot, and she only wants what's best for you, and she wants to help you" Roni said, wanting to make the other girl understand.

"Help me?" Tilly raised her eyebrows.

"Yes, but you need to talk to her about it, hear her out, one day, you'll understand every thing she does, it's for you" With that, Roni turned around and walked away, leaving the blonde girl to think about what she had said.
