Chapter 15

~Diamond pov~

So Ashli had filled me in on the situation and now Darius and me are allies, I can tell his wolf doesn't like me but that's normal. I met the two new members of Ashli's pack Eon seems a bit strange to me. The one that is the strangest though is Nixa she is so obsess with things she calls cute. Then she gets mad if you say something negative about it, her an Darius got into so many fights already.

She constantly hangs out with Eon in the green house and they stay there for hours its just weird.

Blair and Darius are hanging around each other more which is good. There hasn't been any threats just a few rouges showing up every now and again. So overall its been peaceful, so I headed back to the shrine to make sure everything is fine.

When I get there everything seems fine, notice that I said seems because when I go inside the castle grounds its hectic. There is boxes stacked everywhere and people was running back and forth with stuff.

I stopped a girl that was going past, "what's going on?" Before she could answer there was a loud explosion coming from the market area. I rushed out to the market to see tons of splintered wood and rock everywhere. I helped a few people who were trapped under the debris and told them to head to the castle.

There was another explosion so I head to it and what I saw was terrible. There was a huge hole in the wall that protects the shrine and vampires were rushing in through it. Our troops were trying to fight them off but they just kept coming so I told them to retreat and I head to the castle.

I run into the castle and Angel comes out of nowhere and hugs me. "Angel I need you to get everyone down into the bunker and keep the door shut." she looked at me, "but what about you?" I pushed her off into the direction of the bunker, "don't worry about me just make sure everyone else is safe."

I rushed up the stairs to my room (there is a lot of stairs) and grabbed my phone calling Ashli. She picks up on the second ring and I get straight to the point, "the shrine is being attacked by vampires I'm not sure if their Ethan's but their destroying everything."

"I'm on my way" is what Ashli said before hanging up. I came out my room and there was another explosion coming from the wall next to me which sent me flying down the hall. I curled into a ball as the walls came crashing down around me.

This went on for another hour before everything went quiet. I climbed out from under the rubble and I saw total destruction. Nothing was left all the homes and buildings were gone the castle was destroyed, they left nothing behind either.

I got up and walked around but there was no trace of them they were all gone. Ashli was here but it looked like the vampires left right before she came. She seen me looking around and walked over to me, "Are you ok? Is there any dead?"

"No dead and I'm fine everyone is in the bunker" I headed toward the bunker Ashli and her pack following behind me. When we got there I stopped and fell to my knees crying at what I saw, the bunker was blown open. Ashli sent a couple of her wolves to check the bunker.

They came back saying there was no one there completely empty and no dead bodies. "There was no bodies found or any traces of blood so their still alive they were taken captive" Ashli said kneeling next to me. I nodded and went with Ashli back to her pack when we got there Ashli told Darius what happened and looked pissed.

"Even though I want to do it so bad we can't attack Ethan without knowing for sure that it was him and not another coven." I was curled up in a blanket on the couch while Blair and Paris were sitting next to me trying to comfort me. "But why attack us we only know of Ethan's coven but that was after I came here and you told me about him."

"That is true it doesn't make any sense why vampires would attack the shrine when nekos are peaceful." Darius looked like he was in deep thought before he turned toward Ashli, "unless Ethan has a spy in your pack because you do accept all kinds of people and he sent someone knowing you would except them, or remember that rouges would show up every now and again they could be giving intell to Ethan."

"That could be true because I remember you found that one rouge and he was working for Ethan so that could be it."

"Don't excluded the boy and Eon their new and we don't know much about them." Darius nodded "she's right especially about Eon she is too quiet"

"We can have Nixa keep an eye on her because I see them together all the time"

"So whose going to watch the boy then?" Blair asked

"I'll do it" Mike volunteered

"Then its settled the people we have watching them will give a report every week unless its something serious" Mike nodded "I'll let Nixa know."

"Alright since that's done lets do something fun its too gloomy in here" Darius said grabbing game controllers. "I call first player" Paris yelled taking a controller from Darius, after she turned it on Ryan took it. "Hey I called first player" Paris tried to take the controller back, "you always get first controller and you didn't call dibs."

Paris pouted and grabbed another controller making her third player because Blair already had one. They all stayed up late playing different games, I fell asleep sometime around 1 in the morning after beating Darius, Paris, Blair and Ashli in a couple of games.

While asleep the only thing going through my mind is if everyone was ok.

Things are getting heated now that the shrine was attacked.

What do you guys think of this chapter? I hope its good this is all off the top of my head because I was watching a war movie and It inspired this chapter so hope you like it.

Also i wanted to change the cover of my book because it doesn't seem to fit to me so if anyone would like to create a cover for me i would appreciate it very much because I can't find one that suits my book.
