Shera's Pov:

Shera walked along the side of The Skeleton, balancing carefully. She hummed to herself as she did so. I'm glad me friends have found their siblings... Too bad I'll never have mine. Oh well. She reached the end of the edge and flipped around and continued the other way. "I'm doin' fine enough to know that everyone's a little broken. Fine enough  to learn hearts are- AAAH!" Shera screamed as she lost her balance and began to fall into the water, face first. Suddenly, two arms wrapped themselves around her. "Okay, I'm gonna pull ya up... I'll be careful." The person pulled back slowly and lowered Shera onto the deck. He brought himself in front of her. "First Mate? Oh, thank ye... I thought I was a goner fer sure." The young wolf smiled. "I saw ya walkin' along the edge. I thought it be too dangerous ta be doin' that, so I watched ya closely. Then,  ya fell. I raced over and caught ya just in time." Shera smiled gratefully at the First Mate. "Now I know; Don't be walkin' on the edge of a ship." Shera said. The First Mate nodded. Shera watched him. His smiled slowly faded as he stared at the floor. His eyes... What happened between him and Bendy? Really? Oh, he's being a bit silly about it.... I get he cares about his brother, but that's ridiculous. She shook her head. "You know, I don't think it's good of ya to tall yer brother ya don't want to be his brother." The First Mate looked up, startled. "H-how do ya know 'bout that? Bendy's been with the Captain this whole time." Shera realized the mistake she had made. I wasn't supposed to let that slip... How can I lie good enough without telling him?  "I... I heard 'boutit." Shera said quickly. The First Mate looked skeptical at first, thensighed. "I know it be a bit overdone... It's just, I've always know mebrother ta hate pirates." Shera nodded, knowing exactly how he felt."Still, ye should cherish yer siblings. I wish I could..." She saidsadly. "What do ya mean? Do ya have any siblings?" First Mate asked.Shera shook her head. "I don't anymore... I lost 'em long ago... Me parentas well... If I could do it over again, I'd never have made that deal..."The First Mate looked confused. Oh damn it all! Davy Jones, take me now! Whydid I mention the deal? I be and idiot! Shera scolded herself mentally andface-palmed. "Deal? What be that?" Shera tried to think of a way outof telling him the truth, but to no avail. She took a deep breath. "If Itell ye, ya must swear not ta tell anyone. Do we have a deal?" Sheraasked, eyeing the First Mate. He nodded. "Ya have me word as First Mate."Shera nodded. "Alright, but we need a safe place ta talk... I don't wantthe rest ta hear this." The First Mate nodded. "Come one, I know aplace we can talk in private." He said, standing up. He held out his handfor Shera. No one's ever held there hand out fer me before... Sheragrabbed it and the First Mate pulled her up. She followed the young wolfthrough the crowd. Finally, they reached a door that read First Mate PrivateQuarters. The First Mate stepped closer to the door, Shera took a step awayfrom it. "I can't go in there. That be yer private quarters." Borislooked at her, smiled, then shook his head. "This be me private quarters, yes. That means anyone I say can come in, can come in. Or would ye rather wetalk in yer room?" Shera turned red, blushing madly. "N-no! We can bein yer room!" The First Mate chuckled, then held the door open for Shera.Shera walked through the door quickly. The First Mate's room was very neat.Almost nothing was out of place. Almost. The desk in the far corner was completelycluttered. The young wolf rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah... I neverget ta cleanin' that there desk... It has all sorts of stuff on it." Sherastarted to walk to it then stopped. "Is it okay if I...?" The FirstMate nodded. Shera walked to the desk and looked at some of the papers."Treasure counts.... Weapon counts.... Crew counts.... Medicine counts....Ye sure are a busy boy, ain't ya?" Shera said as she picked through thepapers. "Heh, it's just part of me job... I be pretty used to it."The wolf answered. Shera chuckled. She continued to pick through the contentsof the desk. "What's this?" She asked, holding up a silver necklacewith a sapphire charm. The First Mate laughed. "I forgot I even had that.If ya want it ye can have it." Shera eyed him ."You sure?" Sheasked. The wolf nodded. Shera pulled the necklace around and tried to clip it.Suddenly, two hands clasped the clip and clipped the necklace. Shera spunaround, not realizing he had still been holding her hands. She ended up havingherself be held by the First Mate. They both turned red at their currentsituation. He had his hands wrapped around her, still holding her hands and shewas nearly pinned to his chest. She looked up at the First Mate and feltstrange. What? No man or boy has ever made me feel this way before... Whatis this? She wondered to herself as she looked at the wolf. He smiled ather, his face completely red. Suddenly, the door swung open. "First Mate, what are ya do...in'?" The Captain stopped in his tracks when he saw Sheraand the First Mate in their situation. Bendy came trailing behind the Captain, stopping as well. The First Mate quickly released his grip on Shera's hands, putting his behind his back. "What the? Boris, what were ya justdoin'?" Bendy asked, looking very confused. "Bendy, Captain... Thishere be not what it looks like. I was merely tryin' ta help the lass with anecklace... And she was startled and we ended... up... in that...Situation..." The First Mate-or Boris- said, blushing more. Bendy snickered."I find nothin' funny 'bout this!" Boris yelled. "Aw, come on!Ya like her, don't ya?" Before he could respond, Shera stepped between thebrothers. "I think I best be goin'..." She said as she headed towardsthe door. "But-" Boris started. "Later, First Mate..." Shesaid, leaving the wolf alone with Bendy and Captain Cuphead.
