(1F) Peter Parker

"Dad are you sure this is a good ideal?" Emma questioned, staring at the building of her new school, "I mean I can just wait until the new school year I don't have to join in the middle of the year."

"Emma, you have nothing to be afraid of. It's not like you're the one that will turn into a big green monster if you get overly stressed or angered." Bruce said, he could hear the big guy he was referencing yell at him in the back of his mind.

Emma frowned, still unsure as she finally unbuckled her seatbelt.

"You remember Peter right? Well he goes to this school and he's willing to show you around." Bruce told his daughter with a smile, being well aware of her crush on the boy. Emma started blushing then nodded and quickly grabbed her bag as she got out of the car.

"Bye dad!" She said running towards the entrance of the school.

Emma hesitated momentarily before opening the door to the school to find none other than Peter Parker himself waiting. He smiled warmly at her and pulled her in for a hug.

"Hey Emma, how've you been? I haven't seen you since...." He looked around then back to her "you know what" he finished before snapping his fingers. Emma flinched and nodded.

"I'm glad to see that you're still with us. When everyone started vanishing my dad made me go back home so I didn't know what happened...how everyone got back." Peter sighed

"It's a long story..." He frowned then shook his head and smiled at Emma again.

"Come on I'll show you where your locker is." He said, leading the way through the halls of the school.

"So your dad is the hulk?!" Ned questioned in a whisper/shout. Peter rolled his eyes then elbowed Ned

"Ned quiet. Someone could be listening." Peter scolded.

"Yes my dad is Bruce Banner... before you ask, no I can't turn into a big green monster like him too." Emma sighed

"Do you have any kind of powers?" Ned asked

"No... surprisingly. I helped my dad with his research on Gama radiation and somehow I got out of the research unharmed my dad however....well I'm sure you've seen what's happened to him."

"Are you an Avenger too?"

"Yeah I kind of help with Tony's Iron Man suits, my dad with his research, keeping all the pop tarts away from Thor and helping Cap and Bucky figure out modern day technology. The last one gets pretty stressful. Bucky's got a fairly short temper when he can't figure things out. He's already broken at least 80 phones within the span of two days...I swear Tony is going to go bankrupt if he has to keep buying Winter Soldier so many phones."

"Mr Stark is also Emma's god father too" Peter said, still finding it awesome that Tony Stark was the girl of Peter's dreams god father.

"Did you two have a good day?" Bruce asked worriedly as Emma and Peter walked into Avengers tower

"It was.... different." Emma said with a shrug.

"Well you have been homeschooled for most of your life, of course this was going to be a weird change for you." Bruce said as he walked over to the pair as rested a hand on each if their shoulders.

"I'm just glad you're okay." He said then looked at Peter and smiled, "thank you, Peter. For making Emma feel a bit more comfortable about starting school."

Peter grinned and nodded, "of course Mr Banner! Emma is my best friend. More than Ned and Michelle. I mean it's thanks to her I wanted to be an Avenger. And because of her I feel at home with everyone-"

"Thor! Put the poptarts down!" Emma suddenly shouted then bolted after the Nordic God.

"Peter" there was a sudden unsettling tone in Bruce's voice.

"U..um yes Mr Banner?"

"Just know one thing if you ever hurt Emma in any way, shape, or form, me and the big guy won't hesitate to hurt you." Peter flinched then looked up at the Dr.

"I would never hurt Emma Mr Banner. She's the first person I've met that hasn't made a big deal or made it weird about being Spiderman." The boy's face started heating up, "I genuinely like her....maybe even love her" Peter finished as he smiled to himself then helped Emma chase down Thor who was stuffing poptarts in his mouth as he ran.
