"Sir?" Tony groaned in annoyance as he cover his head with his pillow.
"JARVIS it's the middle of the night." The man groaned.
"Sir, it's Peter. He's having a nightmare." At this Tony seemed to be wide awake as he launched himself out of the bed.
Tony quickly made his way out of the bedroom and sprinted down the hallway where a mix of sobs and screams grew louder. Tony frowned as he slowly opened the door to find his adopted son, curled up in his bed, shaking with his sobs.
Tony frowned then walked towards Peter and gently shook the boy's shoulder making him jolt awake and tried to punch at Tony as he screamed.
"Pete! Pete! It's me! It's just me." He said, gripping the boy's shoulders. Peter's wide eyes slowly started to relax and began to water and he wrapped his arms around Tony and cried into his chest.
Tony frowned, already knowing what Peter had, had a nightmare about. It's been the same one since the Thanos incident.
"You're okay, Pete...I'm okay...Strange is okay....all of us are okay." Tony said, rubbing the boy's back.
"B-but-"
"It was just a dream bud... Thanos is dead. He didn't kill us." There was a moment of silence where Peter's sniffles and whimpers slowly began to die down.
"T...thanks dad." Tony couldn't help but smile as he hugged the boy.
"Of course bud"
