Finally writing a Logan one shot xD this is based around Days of Future Past and an AU of IW/Theory of A4

"Where is she?" Logan questioned Ororo as he finished talking with Charles. Storm looked over at Logan in slight confusion.

"Didn't Xavier tell you? Serena's in the cemetery-" before she could finish, Logan quickly left school— taking Scott's bike— and sped off to the cemetery.

Logan knew the present would be different after changing the past but he didn't expect to lose the woman he loved. He didn't want to be right when he told people everyone he loves and cares about end up in danger or killed.

A wave of relief seemed to wash over Logan when he saw Serena sitting in front of a tombstone, seemingly talking to it. Logan let out a breath he didn't realize he held in as he turned the bike off and made his way over to Serena.

"It's been 10 years but it still hurts...I really wish you were still here...this isn't fair... everyone...EVERYONE came back but..." Serena sighed, resting a hand on the stone. Logan stilled for a moment then frowned slightly then looked at the tomb.

James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes

Logan flinched slightly at this. He didn't think this would happen if he stopped Raven but he knew it had to happen.

Logan sighed then sat down next to Serena. He hesitated before slowly wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"How did he die?"

"Logan come on...I've told you this before" Serena rolled her eyes.

"Remind me." Serena frowned then sighed.

"About 10 years ago today...this Titan, Thanos...he went after these stones to wipe out half the galaxy. We teamed with the Avengers but Thanos got all the stones...Buck happened to be one of the people to die...well was in one of the stones. When we beat Thanos we used the stone to bring everyone back but when Bucky came back..." Tears started falling rapidly as Serena let out a choked sob. Logan frowned pulling Serena to his chest and held her tightly as she sobbed. Logan definitely remember the battle with Thanos but the version he knew, Serena's brother made it out alive... everyone in the stone did. The major loss probably would have been Tony who turned on everyone which resulted in him being killed.

When Serena calmed down she looked up at Logan and smiled sadly.

"Charles told me what happened. What you did. The three of us are the only ones to know what happened...other than Strange...he probably knows too. Either way, I'm not upset. I understand you changed the present to save our kind."

"But your brother died as a result of the change..." Logan sighed.

"He would have felt the same way if that meant our kind would be safe. Buck really supported the mutants. When my abilities came out, Bucky was there with me every step of the way making sure I knew that there was at least one person that still loved and cared about me even being a mutant."

"From my encounters with him, he seemed nice. He got along well the the others." Logan said, resting his chin on top of Serena's head.

"As I've said before...as much as I want Bucky back...I'm glad this is our present and not what it was. Bucky and any of the other Avengers would probably feel the same way." Serena said before letting out a yawn.

"Come on. It's time to go home." Logan said, getting to his feet then picked up Serena.

I couldn't figure out how to finish this and I may be a little drunk xD
