Far from Riverdale [completed]

The Question

A Year later
"Will you marry me?" Asked Noah patiently waiting for his reply as we sat on the terrace of an Italian restaurant during a beautiful evening other customers staring in amazement. The words I was shocked hearing, trying to make out a response except nothing seeming to come out no matter how hard I tried.

Jughead POV
I haven't heard from Betty in a long time, the last time we saw each other was well the day before she left. I've struggled without her and can't stand not seeing her, her ponytail, golden blonde locks, ordering a vanilla milkshake at Pops so I messaged her.
Jug:Hi Betty, haven't spoken in a while so thought I'd say hi
Betty: um who is this???
Jug:? it's Jughead, I'm guessing you forgot me or my number
Betty:um...
Jug:I still love you Betty, please speak to me I know I made mistakes but I'm fixing them
Betty:... I don't, love is more than just a feeling jug. You still have feelings for me but you can't love me I don't know... Just leave me alone
I didn't want to but I did, it hurt but it was what she wanted, I should've asked why but I didn't. I've messed up again and worse this time. I love you Betty, she won't hear me so I didn't say it I just thought it.

Betty POV
I've moved on why won't he, I don't need him anymore so why is he coming back like I never properly  left. I'm getting married in 10 months and don't want that to change because of one boy who won't grow up and move on. Jughead is like a child still, he can't look after himself and I don't want to look after him either. Can he not get a grip, I don't love him, my feelings are for Noah and Charlie of course. "I'm so grateful to be spending the rest of my life with you Betty, a beautiful girl and can't wait to get married because I love you to the moon and back times infinity" Noah uttered. "I love you too" I replied. We were going to London to visit Noah's family, Charlie was well behaved during the flight you couldn't hear a sound from him as he fell asleep on Noah's lap looking cute and content that he was pleased that Charlie got to sleep and had a look of awe on his face whilst he stared at the little one I made. "You made the most cute kid in the world" Noah expressed "he is cute" I replied. Charlie lay there for the whole journey opening his eyelids as we landed into London Heathrow giving a little yawn which was very adorable. His parents were waiting for us in arrivals really cheerful with a lot to say and ask but in the end we did most of the talking. We did a lot during the 4 weeks we here, I even got to hang out with Noah's friends which was nice but they're definitely not shy like me.

An/ sorry that this is a short chapter edited out a lot because it was irrelevant, long and a bit boring. And sorry to all bughead fans reading this but again this isn't a Riverdale ship fanfic more a story about Betty not using much from Riverdale apart from characters personalities and traits.
