The next morning, Alexia's phone rang before her alarm did. Still very sleepy, she reached for it blindly, and picked up, not really worrying about who it was.

"Hi cutie." Stiles' voice greeted her.

"God, Sty." She muttered, "You woke me up."

"Nice." He chuckled, "Do you and Allison want a ride to school today?"

"Ah, why?" Alexia slowly sat up in bed, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong." Stiles quickly replied, not leaving her space to not believe him, "Everything is fine which is why I'm being so nice."

"Fine, whatever." She sighed, rolling her eyes, "I'll warn Alli."

Lexi went to wake her sister up, hurrying her up.

That was some weird feeling in the pit of her stomach that morning, like something terrible would happen. She felt like the answer was at the tip of her tongue but she just couldn't reach it, the premonition. So that let her feeling a bit off.

"Bye." Alexia kissed her father's hair on her way out, her Mom was still asleep.

"Take care, girls." Chris replied with a gentle smile.

When they walked out of the door, Stiles' jeep was already parked there.

The first thing Alexia noticed was Scott looking through the window like a lost puppy. She wondered if he was feeling lost because she was supposedly mad at him or because Allison was too close from him and still so far away.

They both got in the back seats, greeting both boys. It was weird the fact that Stiles had offered to give them a ride, and Alexia knew they were up to something - like they always were, Scott and Stiles seemed like troubles' magnets.

First class that day was with Ms. Blake. It always took Alexia's entire strength to take that classes, it was like that woman managed to take the energy out of her body just by looking her in the eyes, and she would let her, because she was always too tired to fight it.

"No way." She heard Stiles' voice by her side, and started paying attention.

"I'm telling you, I saw it." Scott replied, "Deucalion is living in their building."

Alexia closed her eyes for a second, cursing to herself. Thinking it through, maybe it wasn't Scott and Stiles that were troubles' magnets, maybe she was.

So that night, when Victoria asked Alexia to take the trash out, she did but always looking behind her back, afraid Deucalion was there to kill her, to kidnap her, or do whatever he pleased with her. Alexia was an easy target, at least she thought so.

On her way up, a man was inside the elevator too, holding a stick.

"Hunny, do you mind pressing the second floor, please?" And she did, "Thank you, you're a very nice young girl."

Her heart stopped from a second, her mind trying to process the fact that even tho he was blind, he still knew she was a girl.

"You're welcome, sir."

The elevator's door opened, and he offered his arm, which she took gently. Alexia walked the man to his apartment, in the end of the hallway.

"Thank you, again."

"Anytime." Lexi smiled even tho he couldn't see it.

She turned around, ready to walk back to her apartment, when his hand closed around her wrist, stopping her from going anywhere. She turned back again, her face changed.
