Alexia tried to ignore Scott all night, she tried to ignore his calls and his texts. But when she finally got to her room and looked at herself in the mirror, she couldn't stop crying.

It wasn't that Scott would be able to make her stop crying, it wasn't like Scott would somehow take all her pain away, but he could be her strength, he could be her anchor. So that's why at 1am Alexia found herself knocking at his door.

"Lexi, you're ok." He didn't let her talk, he immediately pulled her to his chest, "I thought something had happened to you. You didn't answer your phone."

"I... I didn't get a premonition." Alexia sobbed against his chest, "I didn't..."

Scott grabbed her face, facing her, how much of a mess she was, "It's ok. It's ok, Lexi."

"No, no. Why didn't I get a premonition, Scott?! I should've... I... I..."

Scott didn't say anything else, he just stayed there, hugging her. There was nothing he could do to make it better, so he just kept her grounded, centered. There is no worst feeling in the world that being unable to help someone you love, to only be able to be there.

That night Alexia slept next to Scott, well she didn't sleep much. Neither did him. They layed there just looking at each other, watching each other fall apart while trying to keep themselves together by holding hands under the covers.

Alexia the next morning, while debating with herself she reached the conclusion that Gerard would never talk unless Scott was there; the old man had let that very clear the previous night. So she ended up telling Scott about it. She was tired of secrets, anyway.

"I'm going then."

"Are you sure?" Alexia insisted, "It's Gerard we're talking about. He betrayed everyone once."

"Yeah, but we betrayed him too." Scott smiled down at her, "We are smarter than him."

When, at the end of school's day, Alexia told Allison about Scott going back there with them, the raiven-haired girl didn't seem much happy. Which her sister totally understood.

"Yesterday you said we shouldn't tell him."

"Yesterday I had just watched a friend die. I couldn't thing about putting anyone else in danger." Alexia explained, "But you were right, Alli."

"So today you're ok with putting Scott in danger?" Allison frowned, "Uou."

"That's not..."

"Stop." Scott's voice interrupted them, "I'm not gonna be in danger. I'll be fine."

"That's what you always say but I guess you two decide things together now."

Allison turned her back on the two teenagers, walking to her car. Scott sighed, looking down at Alexia for a moment, breaking the silence after.

"I'm sorry."

"That's fine." She shrugged, "This is my burden to bear, not yours, Scott."

Scott felt sorry for the girl, it wasn't her fault that she had feelings for him. It wasn't Scott's fault either but it was still because of him that the two sisters were fighting.

They made their way to Allison's car, the raiven-haired girl driving off as soon as they entered the car, Alexia on the back seat. The ride was awkward, as expect. All of them wanted to ignore the tension between the three, but that was something they would have to work out at some point. Problems don't just go away.
