Love at First Dance Chapter 2 - Busted

"Maya I told you many times not to watch the television after eight. Don't girl's need their beauty sleep or something like that what you call it these days?"I told my fifteen-year-old sister, Maya. Maya is the complete opposite of me even though we're not blood sisters. She is very keen on her beauty, complexion, diet and the list goes on and on yet she doesn't mind living on the television.

I, on the other hand, am Hailey Glascow. I've been known to be a tomboy throughout my whole life and apparently it's sticking to me like glue.  Being the best dancer in Arlington Dance Academy is my biggest dream and I really hope to become famous not for my beauty but for my talent in dancing even though I'm not pretty.

"What's the commotion about you two bozos?"my brother said walking in rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Meet Kevin Glascow. He's known to be a notorious player and also the hottest jock in Arlington Dance Academy. Yes, my brother can dance but right now he is just letting himself down. Honestly, I don't even know what girls see in him. All I see is a bugger picking snobbish ugly looking pig. What can you expect? I'm is sister after all.

"Can't y'all take it down a notch? I need to get my beauty rest and so do these beautiful babies." he said flexing his so-called muscles. Did I fail to mention that he is also an egotistical jerkface? "Anyways. Maya? Mom said she wanted to speak to you. Alone. About school. And your new friend. Who is a boy. That goes by the name Ryder. And is in a gang. Who does drugs. And-"he was cut off by her when she turned the TV off and stomped out of the room.

"Ya know you didn't have to scare her. I think she's smart enough to handle herself let alone lose her virginity to a gangster."I pointed a finger at him. "Not my fault and wait she didn't tell you? Why do you think mom wants to talk to her? She found her diary whiles packing the room on the bed opened up wide saying and I quote ' I did it with Ryder Andrews at Shelly's party'. End of quote." he smirked at his victory speech. Not for long you pompous freak.

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhh! You snitch! I so knew it was you who did it! You always smirk when you're guilty!"I yelled jumping on his back. He's going get what's coming to him one day. But for now, I'm gonna teach him a lesson. "Help! Mom! She's gonna rape me! Help! Rape! Rape!" he screamed. I covered his mouth with my hands to muffle his ear-wrecking scream. "I am gonna murder you!"I whispered.

Did he just bite me? He bit me? He bit me!! This means war! I charged for him but he caught me and pulled me down. We both started to tickle each other since it was both of our weakness. Unfortunately, I had it really bad. "What in Sam hills is going on in here? Kevin Randolf Ricardo Julio Glascow, get off of your sister right this instant or I swear to God I will search your bedroom for that secret stash of you know what and make sure it's never to be seen again!" she sternly said. He gulped and moved off of me.

Did I mention that my brother had an obsession with storing used condoms and piles them up then gift it to girls on Valentine's day? I didn't? Oh well, now you know. I'm warning you right now, if you meet this dude don't and I mean don't freaking ever take a gift from him. Ever! Last time he gave Maya's friend, Sally, a porcupine for her birthday. He even gave his girlfriend a slushie made out of cockroach juice saying it was the newest version of the chocolate slushie. Do they even have the chocolate version of it? But the most memorable one was when it was my first date. He tagged along and made it so awkward my date stayed in the toilet for two hours and when he came back he saw my brother spitting in his food along with dumping a bottle of urine in his coke. And the worst part was that he demanded that we played truth or dare and eventually got my date to drink the coke and lick his shoe bottom.

But you know guys? They would do anything and I mean anything just to keep their dignity and show who's the boss especially in that game. He couldn't stop laughing and keeps shoving it in my face every time a guy talks to me. He makes sure that they're standing right next to me when he's talking about it and the next minute they're on the other end of the hallway.

Brothers! I wish I could put him up for adoption but too bad I'm stuck with em for life. Well, it's not all bad when you think about it. He's very caring and kind. Sometimes. I think. I admit defeat! It's all bad when you think about it! I can't really remember since the day he set his life mission to make my life a living hell hole. And that day was when I was born. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he's twenty-two years old. He's taken which won't last two weeks and apparently the master in call of duty. Not when I'm around though.

It's time to introduce the last sibling. Me. You already know my name and well I'm seventeen. I am not an ordinary girl and I am most certainly a virgin. Both lips and well everywhere. Boyfriend? Don't have because of ugly extraterrestrial creatures. I live on music and we'll read in my boring times. Friends? The best anyone could ever ask for. He's gay by the way but what can I say it's the trend these days. His name is Miles. He has a crush on the famous Prince Alejandro. It can't hurt to dream but it's a little you know. I don't really think the prince swings for the other team.

"Welp boring sis! I'm off to bed to give Mason and Ryan a good night's sleep." he smiled still flexing his muscles whiles walking out the door. Yeah. He named his muscles. Don't even ask why.

I think you've met the whole famil-"Hailey Emmerson Eveleigh Rosealinda Glascow get down here this instant!" my mom yelled. Okay....maybe not everyone. Did I do something wrong? Pfft. It's me we're talking about. Of course I did something wrong. But it's not like I have a boyfriend or been doing naughty things. Lazily sliding down the rail on the stairs, I met up with two pairs of cold hard glares. " Care to explain why you were out at midnight off to God knows where?" she folded her arms along with my dad.

Meet the parents. Ariana aka my mom and Robert aka my stepdad. They're very serious about our lives and really wants the best for us. At least that's what I know. My real dad was a lunatic. Tried to kill my mom, burnt our old house and almost shot Maya. But being the hero I am, I took it for her cause I'm great like that. I don't really expect her to remember that but it's no big deal. Mom was friends with Robert at the moment so that's why Maya was in the picture then. My mom wasn't cheating by the way. I'm still here and that's what matters. She eventually fell for Mr.hunk over here and decided to settle down even though he had a daughter.

I was never against it as long as he doesn't lay a finger on her except for showing his love in the right ways. Kevin was a little shocked but got over it soon. Our real dad's incident gave us a little eye-opening to the real world and how scary things can get. Hence, another reason to not have a boyfriend.

"Ahem?"

"Oh yeah! I was with Miles!"I lied. They speculated me for any sort of reaction. "Really? Well, call him up. I would really like to hear it from him." she smiled. No! He'll say no! I got it. Our friendship handbook volume one. "Okay just let me get my contacts book cause I don't store the numbers in my phone. Be right back!" I ran upstairs and tumbled around the room for the book. Book five? No. Four? No. Two? No. Three? No. Aha! Wait that's book six. Yes! Found it. Sneeze- I lied to my parents about where I've been. Tiger- I said I was by your house. Burp- we were doing a project. That'll do.

"Okay I'm back and I think I remember the number."I smiled. "She probably went and told him she needs his help to lie about where she went!"Kevin yelled from the kitchen. "Shut up dufus!"I yelled back and he flipped me off.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Call him and put it on speaker too." She patted my shoulder.

Deep breaths! Deep breaths!

I'm in so much trouble if this doesn't work.
