Her name was Celine Matthews.

Not your average name for a black baby girl but she was anything but average. Her father use to tell her bedtime stories about how he named her Celine because it meant Moon. He spoke with such joy about he saw the moon in her eyes when she was born.

With him being an Alpha, who only had one daughter, he knew she would be a great ruler in her time. He knew how important it was with her being the first of her kind. As Celine rode the train to campus on the first day of her last semester those thoughts were heavy on her mind.

Evergreen hills and the crystal blue depths of the lakes that stretched as far as the eye could see passed her by she thought,

"I wasn't supposed to be Alpha for at least another fifty years. Now I have to finish getting my Masters, rule over a werewolf pack that's never had a female Alpha, and also take over the family business all in place of my father."

Celine rolled her eyes as she continued to pile more obligations on her mental to-do list. As she looked out the glass window enjoying the scenic route; the hairs on the back of her neck stood completely up as someone stared at her.

Feeling as though someone's eyes were burning right through her. She looked up and locked eyes with a guy in thick framed glasses and a rough but intriguing scar across his left eyebrow. As she looked him right in the eye, his eyes began to shift quickly and he started rearranging himself in his seat.

Physically showing her his uncomfortableness about getting caught staring. Her cheeks tingled as well as something a little further down south. She thought to herself,

"Well this semester might not be all bad after all."

She looked up again at her bashful stranger and saw that he was getting off at his stop.
The ray of hope faded as quickly as it came when she saw that he was already getting off. Celine looked through the glass to see the mysterious yet familiar stranger as he walked away.

As the train departed, Celine can't shake the feeling that she knew Mr. Pretty Brown Eyes. She shook her head to get rid of the thoughts, telling herself,

"that's not what this semester was about. Men, or women really, are just distractions to the plan."

Now being the head of the family corporation and trying to finish her degree staying on the Dean's list; there was absolutely no time for a personal life.

As she continued to think about warm brown eyes during the rest of her route, she couldn't help but think, "Well maybe she could squeeze in a fun time here or there."
