The bright sun kissed my face causing me to wake up . I stretched and felt around for Juan but I didn't feel anything but a cold side of the bed .
I looked at the time and the clock on my dressing table and it read 11:27AM . I decided to just get up .
I brushed my teeth and washed my face then took a shower . After my shower I went in the drawers to find something to wear around the house for now . I decided on a floral maxi shift dress and went to go comb out my weave .
I walked out of the room and went to the kitchen which was filled with conversation and laughter .
I walked in and seen everyone sitting at the table having brunch .
" Morning!" I chimed grabbing me a plate .
" well well well if it isn't sleeping Beauty ?" My mom teased . I playfully rolled my eyes and filled my plate up .
" when did you start wearing weave ?" Dylan asked .
" probably since she left ." Dawn mumbled .
" don't start ." My father said . I shook off her comment and sat down next to Juan .
" so what do we have planned for the day ?" I asked.
" well your father has some business to attend and I have a tennis match ." My mom said taking her plate to the sink .
" oh that's why you look so sharp ?" Dylan asked
" Mija I always look sharp ." He said causing us to laugh .
" I'm going back home ." Dawn said .
" I don't have anything planned. Do y'all want to do something ?" Dylan asked .
" yes! I wanted to go to the beach and get on the jet skis." Tiffani said .
" that sounds like so much fun . We should go . Wanna come Dawn ?" I asked
" no thanks ." She said dryly as she got up , our her plate in the sink and went upstairs .
" who pissed in her cereal mama?" I sarcastically said .
" Her and Mateo are going through a rough patch so she's been a little grey cloud ." She said causing me to giggle .
" Well I'll leave you all to your festivities . Business waits for no one . Also Juan , when you come back from the beach , meet me in my office ." Daddy said coming over to kiss me and Dylan's foreheads .
He kissed my mom on the lips and exited the house .
" I'll see you guys later . I'm making enchiladas tonight !" She said heading to over to the garage.
" so shall we get going ?" I asked and we all nodded .
Once we got upstairs and everyone went their separate ways , I pulled Juan to the side .
