From the outside the hotel has a very modern look to it and it shows in the lobby of the building as well. There's a lounging area on one side and the registration desk is placed on the opposite side. There is a fair amount of people checking in, more than I would expect at 3am actually, we wait in line and after 5 minutes Emma and I walk towards the desk which is occupied by a tall, brunette lady wearing librarian glasses with short black hair and bangs across her forehead.

"Hi, we're here to check in." Emma informs nicely, adjusting her bag that's on her shoulder. The lady whose silver name tag spells out Bruna, looks up and nods her head.

"Name and ID?" She asks as she raises an eyebrow at us.

"Emma Adams." She says to her as she pulls out her wallet from her bag, opening the clasp of her white coach wallet and slipping out her ID from the clear pocket.

Bruna reaches for the ID, scans over it with her eyes for a second and nods her head as she types something in her black HP computer that is placed in front of her. "Okay, thank you." She says, giving back Emma's ID. Bruna turns and walks towards a closed door, she opens it and walks into a small room and comes back with the hotel room key. She hands us the hotel key card thing and gives us a small booklet with the Hotel name on the front. "You're on the 14th floor, room 1071. I hope you enjoy your stay." She says to us as she turns her attention back to the computer in front of her.

"Thank you." I smile, Emma and I start rolling our suitcases to where the elevators are placed, We stand in front of the chrome elevator doors and Emma pushes the button for the elevator to come down. The elevator doors open after a few moments, reveling white marble flooring and the walls covered in mirrors. We walk in and park our suitcases on the ground, "What floor was it again?" Emma asks tiredly.

"14th floor." I reply with a tired yawn. She nods, presses the button and copies my action and yawning with me, I laugh and she gives me a small smile. "I wanna go to sleep." I whine and rub my face with my hands.

"Same. But, we're almost there." She consoles, right as the elevator doors opens up. We grab our suitcases and walk out of the elevator doors and towards the circular sign that points to where the rooms are located. Rooms 991-1026 are to the left, and rooms 1027-1089 to the right.

Emma and I walk to the right and we're greeted with a dark beige colored carpet with tiny square patterns and a nice light beige color on the walls. The size of the hallway is fairly big and the doors are a nice distance away from each other.

Emma and I continue walking down the hallways until she stops in front of a fancy white door. She slides in the card to open the door and it makes a small 'Beep' sound, followed by a small green light. She pushes the door open and walks in, I follow closely behind her. Emma quickly sets her luggage down and runs to the bed, falling onto the bed she lets out a relaxed sigh and I laugh.

"Is the bed comfortable?" I tease her, she nods as she buries her head into the soft white pillow. The hotel room is a nice big size, the two beds look like they would be a queen sized bed, both of them are leaning against their own white colored headboard. The beds has a light beige bed set and many pillow on it that match the color scheme of the room perfectly. In front of the beds, there is one long chest with many drawers, on top of that there is a fairly large flat screen TV.

I let go of my suitcase and lay down on the bed like a starfish, I lay down for a few moments before I hear Emma getting up from her bed, "I'm gonna change in the restroom." She tells me as she gets up from the comfortable bed and walks over to unzip her blue suitcase.

"Okay, I'll change out here then." I say and she nods. I walk over to my suitcase a take out my pajama set which includes a white loose tank top and black loose pajama shorts, Emma grabs her pajamas and makes her way to the bathroom. I remove my black high top converse first, I then proceed to take off my jersey and replace it with the tank top, next I take off my shorts and pull up my soft silky pajama shorts. I pull my long brown wavy hair into a pony tail, and walk back to where I placed my suitcase and pull out my small brown teddy bear I've had since I was 5. Yes, I still sleep with my teddy bear, I take it with me on every vacation I go on, don't judge. I walk back to the bed and crawl into the big bed. I lay down under the covers and then pull them over my tired body. Before falling asleep I look at the time on the nightstand. It reads 3:45am. I yawn and snuggle with my teddy bear and close my eyes, slowly drifting off into sleep.
