When In Rio

Chapter Four - Dinner

We walk into our hotel room and it looks spotless, you wouldn't be able to tell anyone slept in here last night. The beds were nicely made and everything looked so perfect and put together. I make a mental note to tip the maid before we leave. We drop our beach bags next to the door and I plop down on the light beige bed cover and I instantly feel like I'm on a nice fluffy cloud. I hear Emma zipping open her suitcase so I'm guessing she's going to be the one to take a shower first. "I'm gonna take a shower," She says confirming my thoughts. "I'll be really quick." She informs, scurrying into the bathroom and closing the door before I can say anything.

I sigh and gather my hair into a high messy ponytail, I walk over to my suitcase and take out my laptop which is in its baby blue case. I carry the case to my newly made bed, I sit with my legs crossed together and I unzip the black zipper to revile my purple MacBook Pro. I gently take it out and sit it in front of me. I open it up and the first thing I see is my name and a picture of snowflakes that I set as my account picture. Under those two things is a white bar that I have to enter my password in. I quickly type in my password and my account opens up reveling a picture of me and Emma making a funny pose as my wallpaper and I chuckle right when I see it. Every time I see that picture I laugh remembering the memory of when that picture was taken. I slide my finger on finger pad of the laptop and click on the internet browser, Safari. A new window pops up and I click on Netflix on websites I bookmarked below the URL bar. A red loading bar with the word Netflix above it appears, It finally load a 100% and I click on Orange Is the new Black and resume my current episode. I'm on season 1 episode 10 and so far I can see why everyone says it's so good.

By the time the episode of Orange is the New Black finishes, Emma is out of the shower. She comes out in a white fluffy robe and her long blond hair is still wet. "Oh my god you look so fancy in a robe!" I say trying to hold back a laugh.

"Shut up." She mumbles, but I see her trying to fight back a small smile. Moments pass before she talks again, "So I was thinking we could out to eat and then look at the little shops they have around the streets?" She questions.

I nod, "Okay yeah sure. What attire does that require?" I ask her trying to sound fancy.

She laughs and jokingly rolls her eyes, "Anything causal I guess." She shrugs.

I nod my head, "Kay." I reply. I walk towards my suitcase that holds all my clothes I brought. I pull out my black romper that has a cute criss-cross pattern on the back as well as spaghetti straps with that I pick out my undergarments to change into.

I pass Emma as she continues to look through her suitcase as I walk towards the bathroom. The bathroom is very humid and the mirror is all fogged up. I'm use to it through, I've lived with her for 2 years and I know she likes to take hot showers so it doesn't bother me anymore. I set the clothes on the counter and remove all my current clothes, I then decide to take a really quick shower to wash off. I turn the shower knob and set it to a lukewarm temperature. I wait a few moments before stepping into the shower and once I do I let out a relaxed sigh as the water cleans me off. I stay in there for about 5 minutes to shave my legs again before stepping out and grabbing a white towel from the rack to dry off.

Once I'm all dried off I put on my undergarments and slide on my black romper. I again, pat my hair dry with a towel and walk back into the room. I see Emma touching up her makeup in a pair of cute light denims shorts and a baby pink spaghetti strapped loose tank top. Her long wavy golden blond hair is air drying and she seems to be done with touching up her make-up.

"Oh! Sophia! Okay I was on twitter and Flores, Henderson, Neymar and Pique are at this restaurant right now and its like 10 minutes away from us!" She squeals showing me a picture of them entering a restaurant named, Gero.
