The thing is, I know damn well why I was panicking at Teagan's house. There were too many thoughts channeling through the house. Aaliyah was studying early on law books. Teagan was trying to remember her dance routine. Their grandmother was thinking about church, what she's going to do once the kids leave, is she going to a nursing home, and so many thoughts went through her head I hated. The sad thing is, she's psychic too.
She sensed me, and she was okay about it. Her name was Caryn. She can also see into the future and past.
Technically, then I could see the future and past. It's a mess.
I did see something that was alarming. It was Mara, Ellison's girlfriend. She was bloodied and bruised, walking out of the water. She was coughing and gagging because her throat was collapsed in, there was still fresh blood coming from her neck. Her whole arms and legs were almost black with bruises.
Caryn said for me to leave because she was going to check on Mara through astral projection. That's when I texted Benci to come and get me.
I can't really tell Ellison or anyone for that matter except Caryn.
