Chapter 3 ~ Awkward Unpacking

Carrie's P.O.V

"You first" we both said simultaneously; then we started giggling in the hallway of our apartment building like we were two happy little five year olds with no care in the world.

I had come over to give him the sugar he had asked me for last night, I had sugar in my house when Harry came to ask for some but I didn't feel like giving it to him because of how rude he was to me when I was suffering to pick up all my junk from the floor yesterday afternoon; but then I thought, i'm new here and I don't like lying, or being rude, especially to my neighbours, don't want any enemies now do we?

Soon our giggling died down and it just became full on AWKWARD!!!!!!!

After what seemed like hours of nothing but pure awkward silence, Harry gushed "I'm sorry, sorry for being so rude to you earlier, I didn't mean to I was just in a bad mood." when he finished his, slightly amusing, apology I couldn't hold back my laughter, it was literally uncontrollable until Harry silenced me "Whats so funny?" he said with a huge smirk on his face that showed off his newly discovered dimples to me, they were so deep and added another con to his appearance.

I finally controlled my laughter and replied to his question. "Nothing, it's just that, you didn't have to apologize for that, it was such a small thing i'm sure you were just joking". His smirk was wiped right off his gorgeous face and replaced by Harry with flushed cheeks staring at the ground to try and hide the bright pink tint on his cheeks.

HARRY'S P.O.V

"Uhh..umm, would you like to come in" I asked shyly, trying to hind my embarrassment showing on my cheeks. " Sure, but I can't stay long, i'm going out to lunch with my boyfriend." she said and my heart felt like it was slowly falling apart. I think she noticed my change in mood. "Oh, so your boyfriend moved here with you or....?" I said slightly upset by her social status." No, he moved here a few months back to get a job. So I decided after a while of thinking to move here too." she explained to me.

" Sorry to keep you waiting, you can go and get ready for your date, we can always hangout another time." I said in a hushed tone. " No, no, i'd like to stay here with you, well at least it's better than staying in my messed up apartment." She said and that made my mood slightly better.

" If you want I can help you clean up your apartment." I asked willingly.

"That would be really nice, i'm too lazy to do it on my own." she said with a grateful smile upon her face.

We went into her apartment and It honestly wasn't that messy. If she thinks this is messy I don't think she needs to see my bedroom.

We began unpacking the boxes covering her apartment floor and placing them into the cupboards, shelfs and wardrobes.

I looked at the time on my watch and saw it was already eight-thirty in the evening and I didn't want to tell Carrie the time because I wanted her to miss her date with her boyfriend. Just the thought of her having a boyfriend made me sick. So I just waited for her to realize the time.

Carrie's P.O.V

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and pressed the tiny button at the top of it so that I could see the time.

"Oh my gosh! it's already nine o'clock and my date was two hours ago. Stephan must be wondering where I am."

I scrolled through my contact list and called Stephan, he answered on the first ring. "Carrie, where the hell are you. I've been worried sick about you and i've been standing outside the restaurant for two bloody hours!" he blasted through the phone.

"I'm sorry, I was just unpacking my things with my neighbor Harry......" my sentence was cut short when Stephan said "Harry! Who the fuck is Harry. I can't believe you stood me up to "clean".." he emphasized "your apartment with a stupid boy you just met, and this isn't the first time you have done this. If this is how you are going to treat our relation ship you should have just stayed in America. Oh ya and one more thing, We Are Through!" the line went dead and tears bursted out of my eyes.
