My name is Susan Won and I am currently a college student under Fine Arts living alone in my apartment. Well, that doesn't mean I'm lonely.

"Welcome back to Happy Puppies Shelter, Susan!" Minyoung, the front desk teller at the said shelter, greets me.

"Hello Minyoung. How are the puppies?" I asked to her as I deposit my backpack to her and receive the apron from her.

"Oh, they missed you! Specially this one certain puppy." She gave me a mischievous look and I laughed at her.

"Then I shall meet him inside the shelter Hahaha." I replied and she let me enter the Puppy Shelter after I wear the apron to keep me clean.

As soon as I entered, the puppies ran to me in excitement to see me again.

"Hello puppies~ Did you miss me?" I knelt to pat their heads.

Everyday during the workdays, I drop by this Shelter to play with the puppies after my classes. I can still remember the first time I dropped here I just used to stare at them from outside their pen. I always did that for a couple of days but then an employee from inside offered me that I play with the puppies inside.

Since then, I look forward to returning to this shelter to play with the puppies and with him. Speaking of him, where might he be...

"Aww... did you miss me puppy? Hmm?" I carry one puppy poodle and kissed him. Then someone covered my eyes from behind.

"Guess who's this!?" He asked the obvious.

"I am guessing... Minhyuk Lee!" I answered playfully.

"And you are correct!" He announced lively making me smile upon seeing his smile too.

Yes, Minhyuk was the employee who offered me to play with the puppies when I was just looking at them before. He works part-time here to tame the puppies and keep their shelter clean. We shared lots of time and fun here so we've become good friends.

"I missed you Susan." He said pouting in front of me sitting in an indian sit as I kiss the other puppies.

"I missed you too Minhyuk." I replied without looking at him still spoiling the puppies.

"But you kissed the puppies when they miss you!" Minhyuk complained to me giving me baby looks.

"But you're not a puppy?" I said sarcastically.

"They said I look like a dog." He whined pouting harder which made me laugh a little at the face he made.

"Maybe a dog, but not a puppy." I laughed at him after teasing him and he threw little tantrums at me.

We played with the puppies for a little longer and later, it's time that I have to go home. I returned to the front desk and Minhyuk escorted me there.

"Time to go home?" Minyoung asked as she receive the apron I borrowed.

"You don't have to ask what you already know." I said laughing because of how polite she is.

"It's part of my job Susan." She laughed at her own statement too and so does Minhyuk.

"Okay, see you guys tomorrow! Bye!" I waved to them by the door before finally leaving.

After Susan left, I looked at Minhyuk's direction who was smiling to himself as he watch her leave. I poked him.

"What?" He asked when he noticed me.

"Did you ask her out yet?" I asked him then his face went into a shock.

"I forgot!" He exclaimed as he face palmed himself.

"Not again!"
