Grayson's P.O.V
I left my phone in my room, so I went up stairs to get it but when I came out of my room J came out at the same time and we accidentally bumped into each other. I was about to apologise but then she dropped to the floor and curled up into ball shaking and crying, she was muttering ' Please Don't hurt me'. At that moment I knew how badly jack had hurt her, so I quickly knelt down next to her and said
Grayson- " Jamie it's just me, it's Grayson, don't worry he can't hurt you anymore.... You are safe."
I pulled her close to my chest and we just sat on the floor for about seven minutes until she lifted her head up and said with bulging red under eyes from crying with fear.
Jamie- " I'm sorry, I forgot I was here and if I ever bumped into jack he would burn parts on my legs"
Then Jamie pulled up her sweat pants and showed me all of her burns and scars. There was over seventy of them. I was so upset about what had happened to her so I started to cry as well. After about three minutes we sat up and I looked down at mine and Jamie's shirts covered in tears from each other so I gave her a new one from her drawer and I didn't have any so I took one of Ethan's.
Once we had changed we went down to the dining room where Ethan and Cameron were debating on who was the better sibling. I took Jamie to the table and we got to now each other a lot more and we had a lot of laughs. Then after about 10 minuets the pizza was ready so everyone came around the table and mom passed around the large dinner plates and put the pizza down in the centre of the table and everyone took pieces of it.
Mrs Dolan- " Everyone dig in"
Jamie-" Thank you Mrs Dolan"
Lisa-" Call me Lisa"
Jamie nodded and took the smallest piece and put it on her plate but didn't eat it. I was very confused to why she didn't eat anything so I asked her
Grayson- " Is everything ok?"
Jamie- " Yeah it's perfect, I have just forgotten what it is like to eat something with such high calories"
Grayson- " what do you mean?"
Jamie- " Jack wouldn't let me eat anything under 100 calories per day and even then he would make me force it back up again."
I felt so sorry for her but I'm astonished at how brave she is to still be able to hold her head up. I was smiling at her then finally she took a bite. She looked amazed at how good it tasted.
Jamie- " Wow this is the best pizza I have ever had!"
I was so amused by her, I was staring at her and I got lost in her beautiful ocean blue and hazel brown eyes. Ethan saw that I wasn't eating and that I was staring at J so he interrupted me by saying-
Ethan- " Bro your food is gonna get cold, what are u thinking about?"
Grayson- " N-Nothing"
I continued to eat but I was still thinking about Jamie the whole way through dinner. She only took the one small piece but she looked so happy, which then made me smile. Once we were finished eating we went outside and went on the trampoline which was a really bad idea because Ethan was sick all over it and for some odd reason it was the funniest thing, me and Jamie both started laughing our heads off, and we all had to run of off it and clean it up but it was still fun as Jamie made me laugh so much that I started crying of laughter. I think she is amazing. I already feel really close to her like a best friend that I have never had ( except for E) and it's only been half a day but her smile fills me up like all of my life I have been eating junk food but I have finally found my tastier and healthier side which makes me feel, well to be honest kinda in love.
