After Varian lost, you went to find him.

You found him, sitting alone. Defeated. You were suddenly infuriated. You couldn't believe that guy wouldn't take Varian seriously! His invention was twice as good as everyone elses!

You sat beside him, and he buried his face in your shoulder.

He said, it was very muffled, "I feel like such an idiot....."

You patted his head, and tried to keep yourself from getting angry again.

You responded, "Your not Varian. Your really smart. That guy, just can't tell talent from a hole in the ground! He wouldn't know it, if it tapped him on the nose!"

Varian smiled softly, "Your just saying that..."

"No, Varian. I'm saying it, because it's true. That guy's a fraud anyway."

Varian kissed you in the cheek, and stood up.

"Thanks, (Y/N)."

He walked off, to talk to the princess.

And, the guy really was fraud.
